Don’t just covet what you see on television. Take out your credit card and buy it.

A new show on A&E is betting big on branded content by making literally everything on it something of an advertisement. That is to say, each and every item you see on the new show The Way Home can be purchased from series co-producer Wayfair. Heralded as television’s very first “fully-shoppable” series, the show will feature interior designer Evette Rios and lifestyle expert Megan Colarossi, who will spend the duration of the program chatting about how to “save time and money during home renovations, with segments focusing on do-it-yourself tips, renovations, design, and home makeovers,” AdWeek reports.

It didn’t take long for the show to go from an idea to on the air — as Nancy Go, Wayfair’s vice president of brand marketing, noted: “This show is launching nine months after the idea was conceived. This pace is pretty unbelievable.”

“The Way Home” is currently slated for 10 episodes, and each will follow a different theme, like Black Friday, Christmas, or a more general “organization.” At the conclusion of each episode, viewers can check out online home goods purveyor Wayfair.com and see all the products featured on the show.

“There’s been a huge explosion of interest in interior design websites and people wanting to see inside homes, and this plays into that in a big, approachable way,” said Steve Ascher, executive producer, of The Way Home. “We didn’t want this to be solely, hey, here’s a product, and you should buy this. It was all about context and how this can simplify your life.”

He added, “Everything, from the smallest pieces on set to pieces you see in a makeover in a taped package, is on sale at Wayfair.”

So if you see something you like on silver screen, know that you can have it in your home in, well, shipping time.

Spider-Men unite as No Way Home heads to digital and Blu-ray
Andrew Garfield, Tom Holland, and Tobey Magure behind the scenes of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Spider-Man: No Way Home has yet to leave the top of the box office rankings more than two months after its release. Sony Pictures wisely decided not to rush bringing the film to viewers at home as it continues to rack up money. But at last, the time has come for No Way Home to get a digital and Blu-ray release. And to make the announcement, Sony turned to three generations of Spider-Men: Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire.

No Way Home's digital debut will occur on March 22. Fans will have to wait a little bit longer if they want a physical copy. The Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD release is dropping on April 12. And in a cheeky touch, Sony shared this never-before-seen pic of Garfield, Holland, and Maguire recreating a famous Spider-Man meme.

5 things we’d like to see in the next HomeKit update
Apple HomeKit logo.

Look, we all know that Apple's HomeKit experience isn't as fleshed out as some of the competition, but it's not broken. It just needs some more updates and features, right? Hopefully, with things like Matter and the plethora of news from CES, we may be on the right track to getting a better system.

I'm a complete convert from other smart home systems to solely using HomeKit and HomeKit-branded devices (except my robovac, but more on that later). Here, I want to go over a few features that I'd personally like to see incorporated into the subsequent HomeKit updates. Before I get started, know that HomeKit doesn't get updates in the App Store like other apps. Instead, they are rolled out over time and come with system updates. We will likely get a batch of new features during the next WWDC around June.
More devices, obviously
The first thing that everyone in any smart home system wants is more compatible devices, and that's key for HomeKit more than any other system. Every new smart device that comes out on the market is made with either Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa in mind, especially those with lower price tags. Well, we in the Apple camp like saving money too.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is heading to digital
Spider-Man panicking.

After nearly a month in theaters, Spider-Man: No Way Home has firmly solidified its status as one of the highest-grossing films of all-time (it's currently in eighth place behind Jurassic World and The Lion King). And now, we have an idea when people at home will get a chance to see the superhero event of 2021. According to Vudu, No Way Home will get its digital release on February 28, although that has not yet been confirmed by Sony or Disney (Vudu later removed the release date from its listing). However, pre-orders are already online on Amazon, Vudu, Apple TV, Google Play, and the Microsoft.
