Charge your iPhone quickly and wirelessly with the SonicPower

DESTEK SonicPower, The World's Fastest Wireless Charger for iPhone 6 6S
Haven’t upgraded to the iPhone 7 yet? One charging case might just make you happy you haven’t yet made the switch. Meet the SonicPower, heralded as the “fastest conductive wireless charger” for the second-newest iPhone. Meant for those of us who live life on the go, the SonicPower promises wireless charging in your car, home, or office.

So how does it work? Once you place your iPhone into the SonicPower case, you’ll be able to take advantage of its gilded electrode and pin technology. The case then attaches magnetically to the charging port, with a secure enough connection for “persistent and effective charging.” The circuit chips used in the SonicPower claim to be the safest on the market, and moreover, the team notes that the power port is certified by MFI (made for iPhone), and thanks to the circuit control located beneath the port, your phone will always be charged at a safe voltage and current.

Finally, the SonicPower team notes that the magnetic mount also features a short-delay charging function to avoid any transient current risk, and a circuit protection mechanism eliminates the possibility of a short circuit. Because we don’t need any Galaxy Note 7 situations happening in your car.

While the SonicPower case was meant initially for quick charging in your vehicle, the team also has mounts for easy use in other scenarios as well. There’s both a desktop mount and an adaptor with a quick charging function.

And just how quick is quick? According to the SonicPower team, even with Navigation and other apps running, it takes the charging case less than two hours to fully charge (1 hour, 56 minutes, and 59 seconds, to be exact). In comparison, other car chargers take up to four hours to fully juice a phone.

The SonicPower has already been successfully funded on Kickstarter, with more than 200 folks pledging nearly $20,000 to bring the concept to life. And now, you can pre-order your own quick conductive charging case for $39.

It’s peak summer season, but that also means we’re getting closer to Apple’s fall event in September. This is typically when we expect the next generation of iPhones and Apple Watches.

This year, we’re expecting the iPhone 15 lineup, which should include the standard iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. On top of that, it’s safe to say that we should also see the Apple Watch Series 9, but whether we’re getting a second-generation Apple Watch Ultra is still up in the air. And new AirPods? Who knows! Regardless, it will be exciting and jam-packed with a ton of new products.
