Sign up for Verizon Fios Triple Play and get a free Amazon Echo, Prime for a year

Verizon is betting that your love of Amazon Prime will make its new offer on Triple Play and Fios Gigabit Connection just a little bit sweeter. Ahead of the busy holiday shopping season, Verizon announced plans to offer its TV and Phone service with Amazon Prime tossed in for a year.

If you head on over to the company’s website today, you’ll have the option of signing up for the company’s Triple Play package, which includes all three Fios services — Fios Gigabit Connection, TV, and phone service — for $79.99 per month with Auto Pay and a two-year agreement plus taxes, equipment charges and other fees. And to sweeten the deal, Verizon will throw in one year of Amazon Prime and a second-generation Amazon Echo. All in, that represents a savings of $219 — $99 for the Amazon Echo and $119 for Amazon Prime.

The company’s Fios Internet is a 100-percent fiber-optic network that lets you choose the speed you want for your home. The more people that connect to the service in your home or the more you do with your connection, the faster the speed you’ll want.

If you’re only streaming Netflix movies, for instance, you might not need as much bandwidth as you would if you were using Fios to download and upload large files. Fios Custom TV allows you to create your own TV plan based on types of content you watch. Verizon has a turnkey “Traditional TV” suite that includes 280 or more channels, but if you want a select quantity of channels in entertainment, sports, kids’ content, or any other genres, you have that option as well.

Verizon’s Digital Voice service is a home phone service that runs over the company’s Fios fiber-optic network. According to Verizon, calling over fiber optics allows for a higher quality audio experience and should pave the way for better-sounding calls than what you’d get over alternative technologies.

If you’d prefer not to get all three services and really just want fast internet, Verizon has you covered there, too.

The company’s other holiday offer, Fios Gigabit Connection standalone, will similarly cost you $79.99 per month with Auto Pay plus taxes, equipment charges and other fees. And like the Triple Play option, Verizon will throw in one year of Amazon Prime to make its offer even more appealing.

The Gigabit Standalone offer also comes with a three-year price guarantee. And over that period, you’ll also get a free router rental for three years. There’s no annual contract in this option.

Getting access to Amazon Prime through these Verizon offers affords you a variety of benefits, including access to free two-day shipping and reduced prices on overnight shipping. And if you’re someone who craves streaming-video service, Amazon Prime Video offers a host of outstanding shows, like The Man in the High Castle and others.

The second-generation Amazon Echo is one of the more popular smart home devices. The device is powered by Amazon’s virtual personal assistant Alexa and comes with the ability to stream music, podcasts, and more. And whenever you belt out voice commands, you can use the service to control a variety of products in the smart home, including smart thermostats, lights, and smart locks.

Verizon’s Triple Play and Fios Gigabit Connection Standalone offers are available now on the company’s website. It’s available to qualified new customers and your Amazon Prime will be applied as a bill credit. The Echo can be redeemed on a special Verizon page on Amazon’s website.

Secure Your Value: Lock in the price of your Verizon phone plan for 3 years
Verizon store front displays the 5G network in NYC.

This content was produced in partnership with Verizon.
Prices are steadily climbing for fuel, groceries, products, services, you name it. This means that we will all have to budget more, spend less, and potentially cut out excess wherever we can. You certainly don't want to be seeing the costs of your bills going up, especially if you have budgeted for expected amounts. If you've ever opened or peeked at your electricity or water bills to see meter hikes, you know exactly what we're talking about. Even minimal jumps of $5 can throw your checkbook off balance so if you have the opportunity to lock in prices for good, at a reasonable cost, you should definitely take advantage. It will bring you peace of mind, but it will also make budgeting in these trying times much more manageable. During a period when many companies are elevating prices, Verizon is doing the exact opposite. Allow us to explain.

Verizon's Welcome Unlimited plan offers unlimited talk, text, and data access via its renowned 5G nationwide network. You can jump in for $25 per line, per month, for four lines, and you can bring your phone -- you don't have to buy a new one. Better yet, for new and existing customers, bringing their own devices, Verizon will lock in the price for three years. That means no surprise increases, no hidden charges, and honestly one of the smartest offers we've seen in a long while. Why Verizon, you ask? Don't worry, we'll dig into that, but for now, you can check out that Welcome Unlimited offer below, or keep reading. We have to point out that this is a limited offer and won't be available for long. Also, to celebrate three years of savings, Verizon is giving away 20 pairs of tickets to the SuperBowl for the third year in a row. For a chance to win, you can head to now or enter online - but do it soon because this sweepstakes ends February 15.

ESPN+ Free Trial: Can you sign up for free in 2022?
The ESPN+ logo on a black background.

Today, there are many options for streaming sports, which means the dark ages of live sports broadcasts are over. It's no longer difficult to stream live sports, games, and fights online, and one of the best streaming services for this purpose is ESPN+. The sports broadcaster launched this premium streaming platform in 2018, and it's since become the go-to app for streaming sports events like UFC fights, Major League Baseball games, boxing bouts, and much more, along with offering a ton of on-demand sports content in the form of exclusive shows, films, and documentaries. It's a paid service, though, so it's only natural that you might want to give an ESPN+ free trial a spin before you commit to paying. If that applies to you, keep reading, because we've got everything you need to know right here -- including several ways you can save and maybe even get ESPN+ for free.
Is there an ESPN+ free trial?

The short answer is there is no ESPN+ free trial as of now. That's in contrast to most streaming services, which usually either offer a trial period (the 30-day Hulu free trial being one of the best) or a pared-down free streaming plan such as those offered by Sling TV and Peacock. ESPN offered a free trial back in 2018 when it launched its premium streaming platform, but that was sadly short-lived. If you're looking for a way to try ESPN+ for free (or at least save some money on your subscription), though, then don't give up just yet -- you have some options.
