Fortnite season 4 week 4 challenge: Launch off Sentinel hands without touching the ground

As part of Fortnite‘s season 4 week 4 Wolverine challenge, you might be stuck on bouncing off the hands of Sentinels without touching the ground. Luckily, it’s way easier to complete than it seems, since the hands are placed in such a way that you can set your controller down while you bounce between them. In this guide, we’ll show you everything you’ll need to know about Sentinel hands, from where to find them to how to bounce between them with ease.

Here’s how to launch off all Sentinel hands without touching the ground in Fortnite.

How to unlock the challenge

As with all of Wolverine’s challenges, you must first purchase this season’s battle pass to unlock the ability to complete them. There is no other way to gain access to them, unfortunately, so hopefully you’ve got some extra V-bucks lying around from a previous season. Otherwise, you can buy the battle pass for around $8. Once you’ve got it, head to the Battle Pass tab from the main menu and scroll over to the Wolverine Challenges.

Here, you’ll be able to see all of the challenges and rewards that are available up to this point. Currently, we are on week 4, meaning there are four challenges to complete so far since a new one appears each week. Once you complete the first six challenges (which will take six weeks), you’ll gain access to the classic blue and yellow Wolverine skin to use in-game. There are other rewards to earn along the way, as well. Keep in mind that you don’t actually need to complete all of Wolverine’s challenges in the order they appeared. As long as you complete them all before the season ends, you’ll still be able to earn the skin, along with the other rewards.

Now that you know how to start and gain access to Wolverine’s challenges, let’s get into actually completing the one for week 4.

Where to find Sentinels

Step one is to locate the Sentinel hands, which are found in the Sentinel Graveyard toward the center of the map. If you’ve been following along throughout this season, you’ll remember one of the previous challenges to dance atop the Sentinel heads in this area. The Sentinel hands are in the same location as that challenge, to the south of The Authority at the Sentinel graveyard. Use the image above for reference. Here, you’ll find the remains of several Sentinels, which are giant purple robots from the Marvel series that have evidently been destroyed in this location. What you need to do to complete this week’s challenge is land on one of the hands of the Sentinels, which will launch you up into the air, toward the other hands, and so on.

We chose to land on the hand of the westernmost Sentinel, but you can pick whichever one you’d like. Some are harder to reach than others, though, so just take a look at them and see which hands are easier to access. Once you land on the hand, you can basically set your controller down as your character bounces between them.

You can check out the video above for reference if you’re stuck. Try not to move your character as you’re bouncing between the hands because it could mess up the way you land, and you might have to start over again. You can see that after six bounces, you’ll gain credit for completing the challenge, and you’ll be awarded with a new Ferocious weapon wrap — featuring a Wolverine theme. If you mess up, simply go back to one of the hands and try again, but as long as you don’t move your character while you’re launching between the hands, you shouldn’t need to do that.

You can also bring a friend with you to watch your back as you attempt to complete this challenge, but from our experience, this location is not busy at all, so you’ll likely be safe if you go solo. You can complete this challenge in solos, duos, squads, or Team Rumble, as well. The hardest part is locating the Sentinels, so after you arrive, you’ll be able to complete this challenge in no time. Once you complete it, you’ll be one step closer to earning the coveted Wolverine skin.

All Medallion locations in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3
Ringleader scarr on a car in Fortnite.

A new season of Fortnite means a new cast of bosses with unique items to obtain. This season, your reward for besting the new Mad Max-inspired bosses is Medallions. These items, which first appeared in Season 1, grant your character some of the best buffs in the game. Unlike previous seasons, this time there are only three new bosses, and thus three Medallions to find and equip during a match. The only way to get them is to locate the bosses and manage to take them down. We can't help you in the fight itself, but can at least show you where to go and what each Medallion does.

The three bosses this season are Ringmaster Scarr, The Machinist, and Megalo Don. Each one appears in a different POI on the map and drops a unique Medallion.
Ringmaster Scarr
Scarr is found in the Nitrodome near the center of the map toward the south. She drops the Ringmaster's Medallion, which grants you unlimited ammo and a minor damage boost.
The Mechanist
Down near the south coast and slightly east is the Redline Rig POI, which is The Mechanist's lair. His Medallion will allow your shield to regenerate over time.
Megalo Don
The big bad of the season, and the most difficult boss of the trio, is Megalo Don. You can find him in the Brutal Beachhed POI, which is the giant ship beached far to the south and west of Redline Rig. If you manage to take this boss down you can get his Medallion, which gives your character, and by extension your vehicle, infinite Nitro.

All vehicle mods in Fortnite and how to use them
Madmax characters in Fortnite.

Vehicles have gotten a major upgrade in Fortnite with Chapter 5, Season 3. Instead of simply being a great way to get around the map faster, and occasionally run over an unlucky opponent, you can now add mods to your cars to turn them into deadly weapons. Since this season's entire theme is centered around vehicular combat, you will be left in the dust if you don't learn how to fully take advantage of all the new ways to kit out your ride. Thankfully, modifying your vehicle is much easier in Fortnite than in real life, so let us give you the rundown on all the vehicle mods and how they work.
All vehicle mods and how they work
Modding a vehicle in Fortnite is so simple you may even do it by accident the first time around. While you're driving around the map, keep your eyes peeled for the vehicle mod crates lying around. These will have some text above them telling you which mod they are. Once you spot one, simply run it over to install that mod on your current car. You can also pick them up on foot and throw them at a vehicle to equip them that way.

Each vehicle can only have one mod per slot, and not all vehicles have the same number of slots. The SUV, for example, can equip any mod, but a dirt bike obviously can't use one that uses the roof slot. Here are all the mods currently in Fortnite.

The new season of Fortnite has begun, bringing players to a Mad Max- and Fallout-style wasteland full of ridiculous vehicle features and new items, including a War Bus you can work to control.

The "story" of Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3, which is out now, revolves around a huge sandstorm has swept over the battle royale island. This has ushered in the "Wasteland Warriors," who rode in with the storm and transformed the south of the map with new locations. One is the Brutal Beachhead, a beached ship with what looks like a huge bitemark in the front.
