Prime Day 2020 is only just warming up, yet we’ve already found what we could be the best deal we’ll see over the course of the next 45 (or so) hours: A NordicTrack Commercial Series Treadmill for $1670, down $330 from the usual $2000. But the discounts don’t end there. Amazon is also throwing in a free annual iFit membership worth $468, bumping the total order value up to $2467 and the size of the discount to $795. If you’re serious about building a home gym, this is is the deal to beat.

The NordickTrack Commercial Series can contain up to five individual exercise profiles and provides users access to live, studio, and global workouts. The 10-inch touchscreen makes it easy to follow along to the workout while running and also shows your stats for easy tracking. The SMART-Response motor helps with running and cardio training.

You can adjust the incline from -3% to 15% with a single touch through the OneTouch control. There is also a 12 MPH SMART OneTouch speed control, but the iFit Trainer automatically adjusts the speed and incline of the NordicTrack to match the requirements of the program as well as real-world terrain. You don’t have to leave the home to run through beautiful scenery–the screen will immerse you in the landscape and match the track you choose to run.

When your workout is over, the SpaceSaver design and EasyLift Assist means you can easily fold up the treadmill for compact storage. You won’t need two or three people just to move the equipment. This makes the NordicTrack a great choice for someone in a smaller space. Even if it is a bit heavy, just think of it as a continued workout. With a 300-pound capacity and a 22-inch by 60-inch tread belt, there is plenty of space while running.

The NordicTrack Treadmill is one of the single best Prime Day deals so far. The combined savings on the treadmill itself and the iFit Membership is unbelievable. If you want to set up a home gym to offset the quarantine calories, this is a great opportunity. Act fast, though–this deal won’t last beyond Prime Day.

New iFit ActivePulse feature uses heart rate to customize treadmill workouts
NordicTrack Active Pulse

It's a new year, which means new resolutions, new commitments to working out, and exciting new gear, as we've already seen at CES 2021. One of the leaders in the smart gym market, iFit, is known for its interactive video workouts that bring users to all corners of the world. The company is now taking its technology one step further by bridging the gap between your exercise intensity and the exercise equipment. The newly announced iFit ActivePulse monitors your heart rate during a workout and adjusts the treadmill's speed and incline so athletes get the best workout possible.

Not only do iFit users work out alongside a professional trainer, but the software, when bundled into a treadmill, can control the speed and incline to match the terrain on the screen. Users don't have to worry about adjusting their treadmill and can merely workout. One disadvantage to this automatic control is that it assumes you can work out at the trainer's pace. Those new to working out may find the default incline and speed settings are too difficult, while experienced athletes may feel they are too easy. The new ActivePulse from iFit is designed to address this troublesome flaw.

NordicTrack redefined the treadmill with its iFit-enabled workouts that bring a virtual studio gym and outdoor adventures, such as a hike to Mount Kilimanjaro's summit, to your home gym. Not to b overshadowed by CES 2021, NordicTrack latest venture will  take its iFit virtual training beyond its cardio roots and into weight training. The company's new Vault smart mirror  lets you lift weights and tone your muscles alongside some of the best virtual trainers compiled by iFit.

NordicTrack's Vault is aptly named. Not only does the fitness mirror help you exercise correctly, but it also stores custom training accessories. The Vault functions as a freestanding storage space where you can store kettlebells, weights, yoga blocks, and more. Unlike the Tonal and Mirror, you don't have to mount it to a wall. The Vault has an extra-heavy base to keep it steady. It also comes with a safety strap and mounting hardware to secure it to your wall if you want that additional protection from tipping.

Amazon third-party sellers raked in over $3.5 billion on Prime Day 2020
Amazon Warehouse

Prime Day was disappointing this year. With less than impressive discounts on TVs, laptops, and Apple products, it was one of the worst Prime Days we've ever seen. And yet, according to Amazon, third-party sellers still brought in a record $3.5 billion from the shopping event.

Amazon has yet to disclose its overall earnings for Prime Day, choosing instead to focus on the success of the small businesses that sell products on the site. However, it is probably safe to assume that if third-party sellers had record numbers, the online retailer probably did pretty well.
