Among Us is coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC on December 17. The indie hit is one of 11 new games coming to Microsoft’s subscription service by the end of the month.
The news was initially revealed during last night’s Game Awards, and a new blog post from Microsoft announced the official December release date for Among Us. It will only release on the PC version of the service. The 2018 phenomenon was a big winner at last night’s Game Awards, taking home trophies for Best Mobile Game and Best Multiplayer Game.
The post reveals a handful of new additions and release dates, which mostly include standout indies. This year’s roguelike deck-builder Monster Train comes to consoles on December 17. The hidden gem uses the basics of popular card game Slay the Spire to create a tower defense spin on the deckbuilding genre. Another notable addition is Wilmot’s Warehouse, a chill warehouse management game that will be available on both PC and console December 17.
The latest batch brings even more games to Microsoft’s cloud gaming service, which is coming to iOS next spring. Players will be able to play The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on android devices, as well as consoles, starting December 15. Cloud gaming users will also get Code Vein, My Friend Pedro, Moto GP 20 and more on December 17. Both Gears 5 and Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will receive touch controls on Android that same day.
Farming Simulator 17, Football Manager 2020, and Mortal Kombat X are leaving the service on December 30. As always, Game Pass subscribers can get 20% off if they buy the games through Microsoft.
