Fortnite challenge guide: Collect chocolate boxes from Pleasant Park, Holly Hedges, or Retail Row

For season 5, week 11 of Fortnite, you’ll have a huge batch of new challenges to complete — most of which are Valentine’s Day-themed. That means you’ll be running around the map looking for love-related items to help out the game’s various NPCs. One of the trickier challenges of the week is collecting chocolate boxes from Pleasant Park, Holly Hedges, or Retail Row. It’s confusing because the challenge description isn’t entirely clear on what you need to do.

There are chocolate boxes hidden around each of the three named locations, and what you need to do is collect three of them. You can mix and match — for example, you can gather two chocolate boxes from Retail Row and one from Pleasant Park, or any combination of the three. As long as you gather three boxes total, you’ll be good. If you check the challenge hub from the main menu, you’ll find a map highlighting each location — though, it doesn’t specify where the chocolate boxes are hidden.

In looking at the map from the challenge hub above, the game doesn’t tell you where to find the chocolate boxes. There are many scattered around each area, but to finish this challenge, you only need to collect three. For the purposes of simplicity, we’ll only cover where to find three chocolate boxes so you can quickly complete the challenge.

We found two at Retail Row and one at Pleasant Park for a total of three boxes. Just keep in mind, there are other boxes across each area — but we’ll just be covering three of them since that’s all you need.

Boot up a Team Rumble match so you can spawn back in after you die, to make things easier. Battle Royale works as well, but it’s a tad harder since you only have one life. Either way, head to Retail Row first, to the southernmost building in the area in the middle. Use the image below for reference. On the top floor in the bedroom on the left, you’ll find a bed with the first chocolate box. Use Square on PlayStation, X on Xbox, or Y on Nintendo Switch to collect it. One down, two to go!

For the next one, head directly north to the large grocery store in Retail Row and in the middle of the floor next to the cash wrap is the next one. You can grab these in any order, but this is the process we used.

For the final one, you’ll need to head to Pleasant Park. We advise you to just quit out and start another match if the storm is getting close. If you can find a vehicle, you might be able to get to Pleasant Park from Retail Row in time, but you’ll likely need to start a second match just in case.

Head to the building on the southeastern side of Pleasant Park. On the top floor is a bedroom with the third box of chocolates. Grab it and you’ll complete the challenge and earn 20,000 XP.

Remember, you don’t have to collect these specific boxes, but these are the ones we used, and they’re relatively simple to find. You can explore Holly Hedges to find other options, but it’s just as easy to look for the ones we recommended.

Can you fix the Fortnite servers not responding error?
Nanner Ringer emote in Fortnite

The last thing you want to see when loading up Fortnite for a match with your friends, especially when a big new update is dropping, is to be hit with an error. The worst of which might be the "Fortnite servers not responding" error due to how vague it is. Most people don't know what servers are, let alone what it means when they aren't responding, except that you can't play your game. The question then becomes if you have any power to solve this issue yourself or if you're forced to wait until Epic Games addresses it on its end.
Can you fix the servers not responding error in Fortnite?

The first thing to do when encountering this error in Fortnite is to go straight to the Epic Games Help website or X account (formerly Twitter). This will let you know if it is something on Epic Games' end that is the issue and also keep you updated on the status of when the servers are expected to be fixed. Servers can also be taken down for maintenance or in preparation for major updates, which will also be accounted for here. If this is the case, there's nothing to do but wait until they announce the servers are back up and running.

Where to find Vendetta Flopper in Lego Fortnite
Characters fishing in LEGO Fortnite.

The fishing update to Lego Fortnite added, you guessed it, the ability to fish once you've made yourself a rod. Of course, since fish didn't exist in the game before this, an entire school of undersea life needed to be created. Every fish you can catch has a different benefit, from restoring a bunch of health when you eat it to giving you some kind of buff. The rarest and most useful fish is certainly the Vendetta Flopper, making it the most coveted catch in the game. While fishing is still heavily dependent on luck, you won't even have a chance at this fish unless you know where to cast your line.
Where to find the Vendetta Flopper

Before you even attempt to attempt this legendary catch, make sure you're ready with an Epic fishing rod and Epic Bait Bucket to give yourself the best chance at a rare catch. The nest step is to only cast into the glowing purple zones that indicate the presence of rare fish. Fishing in any other part of the water won't yield the Vendetta Flopper we're after.
