When it was announced that “His Airness” would be returning to the courts in the digital form of a playable character in NBA 2K 11, it pretty much guaranteed that basketball fans would be keeping a close eye on this game, if not just flat out planning on buying it. After watching the new trailer, there is a very good chance that NBA2 K11 will win over more than just Jordan fans.

Developed by Visual Concepts, and published by 2K games, the game will feature all the traditional basketball modes you would expect, including quick play, online games and the ability to design your own player and guide him through the D-Leagues to the pros. NBA 2K11 will also introduce “The Jordan Challenge”, a series of 10 memorable moments that will let players experience some of Jordan’s most memorable performances throughout his career. The challenges will be games with goals, including scoring 69 points or more in the March 28, 1990 game against the Cavaliers, and average 31 points or better through the 1991 NBA Finals against the Lakers- a second goal in that series would be to shoot better than 55-percent from the field.

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl: release date, trailers, gameplay
Key art for Stalker 2. A character in a lit-up gas mask and a gun on their back.

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is the next hotly anticipated entry in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise. The game is releasing over 13 years after the last entry in the series, and it's making its debut on consoles as an Xbox Series X exclusive.

Developer GSC Game World was forced to delay this title after the Russian invasion of Ukraine began and uprooted the team members' lives. Despite the hardships and tragedy every member of the team no doubt suffered, and all the sacrifices they made, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl was not abandoned and the team pushed on to continue developing the game.

The Run: Got Next is a vibrant spiritual successor to NBA Street
Zamboni in The Run: Got Next.

The Run: Got Next is a new vibrant street basketball game from former EA developers who worked on series like NBA Street, Madden, and Dead Space.

Its developer is Play by Play Studios, which former Visceral Games General Manager Scott Probst and Madden creative director Mike Young formed two years ago. In a blog penned by Probst, the studio reminisces about an era of sports games free of needlessly complex simulations, grinding, and Ultimate Team-fueled microtransactions. "We're not going to worry about overly complex menus, micromanagement of rosters, the opening of packs, or playing a game that feels like I'm watching a broadcast ...We're gonna double down on the fun and get you into the game, and we're gonna do it with style," writes Probst.

Splitgate 2: release date window, trailers, gameplay, and more
A character in pink armor and a player character with two guns pointing towards a yellow portal in Splitgate 2.

In 2021, the original Splitgate became an overnight success when word spread about its beta. It blended the best elements of arena shooters with the mind-bending mechanics of Portal. Instead of simply running and shooting around a map, all players had the ability to create portals to flank and create new sightlines through. This opened up a ton of possibilities, and yet the game was almost immediately abandoned after reaching 1.0. Now, developer 1047 Games is back with a full sequel. Splitgate 2 isn't just a few more maps and guns, but a full-on sequel. Let's jump through this portal and get the drop on all the details about this new game.
Release date window

Splitgate 2 only has a rough release window of 2025. There's no way to tell right now when next year it will come, but it would be safer to assume in the second half.
Platforms
Splitgate 2 will be available for most platforms when it is released. This includes PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It will also be free-to-play so everyone is welcome to jump in and give it a shot.
