The fun folks at Ford have created a full-size replica of the company’s new Ford Explorer made entirely of Lego bricks. The life-size Explorer took over 2,500 hours to complete and was created by 22 designers. In total, the entire vehicle is comprised of over 380,000 individual Lego bricks and weighs in at 2,654 pounds with a 768 pound aluminum platform supporting the massive creation.
Ford plans on shipping the Lego Explorer to the new Legoland theme park just outside Orlando, Florida. In a fun twist, the Lego Explorer will make it’s way down the open road on a transporter with transparent sides so everyone can view its journey.
