JVC’s Powerbeats alternatives are down to $30

JVC Fitness wrieless earbuds

If you’re a fan of Beat’s Powerbeats 4 or Powerbeats Pro but not so much a fan of the price, then you may want to consider these JVC Fitness wireless earbuds. In fact, they are pretty great earbuds that are great for day-to-day use or even sports, and even better, they’re going for only $30. That’s a $10 discount from Best Buy on their original $40 price tag, and while that may not mean much in the grand scheme of things, that’s still a 25% discount on a solid set of budget earbuds.

Why you should buy the JVC Fitness wireless earbuds

One of the better aspects of being budget-oriented earbuds is that they’re great for sports and an active lifestyle since they don’t feel very weighed down and like they can constantly slip off. Plus, you do get the over-the-ear loop to help keep it stable, meaning you won’t have to constantly adjust when you’re busy climbing a mountain or running. The JVC Fitness earbuds are also IPX5 rated, so they can withstand the elements, and you shouldn’t worry too much if you need to go out in a light drizzle or something similar.

In terms of connectivity, they connect through Bluetooth and have automatic pairing, which is another nice feature that saves you the hassle of pairing them each time. A more divisive issue is the fact that they have touch controls instead of buttons, which may not be ideal for those who prefer pressing something physical. On the bright side, they do have a very impressive 30 hours of battery life, so ultimately, it does come down to what feature you feel is more important than the other. It’s also worth noting that, while they don’t have ANC, you can use each earbud individually, and they do have integration with various voice assistants, which is nice.

While the JVC Fitness earbuds are unlikely to win any awards for being the best earbuds on the market, they are an excellent budget-oriented alternative to Powerbeats, especially with the $30 price tag from Best Buy. Of course, there are a lot of other great options out there, so be sure to check out these other great earbud deals as well.
