Just when you thought the blacked-out look on a vehicle might have run its course, Land Rover sets out to convince us otherwise with this latest edition to the Black Design Pack.
The new Fuji White Range Rover Evoque, showcased at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, completely flips the script on the concept of customization with a look that’ll rival a lot of the Evoques that have rolled out of tuner shops. And there have been some hot ones.
After all, the toughest part of pulling off a good custom piece is starting with a nice design so it’s hard to go wrong with the award-winning Evoque. Well, as long as the new styling elements adhere to the true essence of the SUV.
In addition to the contrasting body color and roof, the Black Design Pack includes dark exhaust finishers painted in Santorini Black with a gloss black rear bumper and inner and outer sump guard, which is carried through on the front of the vehicle.
Land Rover’s most recent take on the SUV also features darkened front headlights and fog lamps and Santorini Black painted ‘Range Rover’ lettering across the both the bonnet and tailgate and a black rear spoiler
The Black Design Pack also includes special 20-inch wheels offered in a nine spoke design and painted in gloss black.
Available as either a coupe or 5-door, the special trim edition made its debut earlier this year on the Sicilian Yellow Special Edition Evoque. The Sicilian Yellow edition comes in either a Sicilian Yellow exterior with a contrasting Santorini Black roof, or Santorini Black exterior with a contrasting Sicilian Yellow roof and door mirrors. But the Fuji White edition has more classic appeal.
The Black Design Pack trim will be available in April. No official word yet on pricing.
