Halcro Launches New Sound Processors

Halcro Logic Surround Processors are designed to handle the array of home theater applications with sophisticated design yet simple operation. The SSP100 includes four HDMI switchable inputs, whilethe SSP80 offers three. This connection feature allows a single cable to transport both audio and video signals, eliminating cable clutter and improving resolution.

Multi-channel SACD and DVD audio playback is accomplished through an analog bypass, which preserves the integrity of the audio signal. This results in the highest standard in audio reproductionwithout compression, according to Halcro. To preserve consumers’ investments, the Logic series is upgradeable and offers a USB connection for software upgrades as product enhancements evolve. Eachmodel is supplied with the Halcro UTSR1, a universal touch screen remote, which controls the Logic system and all other existing equipment. The remote also comes with a charging docking station forcharging the UTSR1.

The suggested retail prices of the SSP100 and SSP80 are $9,990 and $7,990.

Order Samsung’s brand new 98-inch QLED 4K TV and get $2,000 off
The Samsung Q80C placed in a living room on a TV stand.

While regular Prime Day deals are certainly appealing at the moment, we're impressed to see what Samsung is offering as part of Prime Day TV deals season. If you want the ultimate home cinema experience, you can preorder the Samsung 98-inch Q80C QLED TV for $7,000, saving a huge $2,000 off the regular price of $9,000. Now, we're not saying that $7,000 is cheap by any means but if you've been keen to invest in something huge in every sense of the word, this is a great saving. If that sounds like you, take a look at what else we have to say about it.

Why you should buy the Samsung 98-inch Q80C QLED TV
As one of the best TV brands, you're in safe hands with Samsung. The Samsung 98-inch Q80C QLED TV is certainly a vast example of what Samsung has to offer with a 98-inch screen needing a pretty huge living space to serve it justice. It's worth it too. Of course, there's the QLED panel which means you get super vibrant colors across the board. That's further helped by features like the Supersize Picture Enhancer that uses AI to optimize content for the larger screen. AI and 20 neural networks also boost sharpness, deepen blacks, and upscale any non-4K content. There's also Direct Full Arrays technology that controls the amount of lighting across all parts of the screen, even in sunlit rooms.

A new USB-C case may be in AirPods Pro’s future
The Lightning connection on the AirPods Pro case.

The Lightning connection on AirPods Pro may be a thing of the past if Apple finally makes the switch to USB-C. Phil Nickinson/Digital Trends

One of the worst-kept secrets in Cupertino, California (if anyone's actually trying to keep it, anyway) is that the iPhone 15 is going to switch to USB-C from Apple's proprietary Lightning connection when it's announced later this year. That's likely due in no small part due to the European Union, and generally speaking, it's a good thing because proprietary cables are bad for you, even if they're great for Apple. (And arguably better for the product.)

Amazon Echo Buds 2023 edition in their case.

The third-generation Amazon Echo Buds were just released in early June, but if you're an Amazon Prime member, you can already get the wireless earbuds with a 30% discount from Amazon. From their original price of $50, they're yours for just $35 for savings of $15. We're not sure how much time you've got left to take advantage of this offer though, so to make sure that you grab the audio accessories for cheaper than usual, you'll need to complete the purchase right now.

Why you should buy the third-generation Amazon Echo Buds
The third-generation Amazon Echo Buds are missing some of the premium features that you can find in the best wireless earbuds, including active noise cancellation and spatial audio, which is understandable given their affordable price. However, their major draw is that they place Amazon's Alexa directly in your ear, so while you're wearing them, you can use voice commands for various functions like controlling music playback, launching apps, and asking for information. You'll be able to hear the digital assistant, as well as your favorite playlists, loud and clear with the wireless earbuds' 12mm drivers.
