Take-Two and Rockstar Games have announced that they plan to fully cooperate with an FTC inquiry into their popular Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas game. This comes after being cleared by the Entertainment Software Rating Board for taking decisive action in removing the alleged adult content found in the game.
GTA: San Andreas, a game which was originally marketed and sold for Mature Audiences, has been the center of a media maelstrom since the purported discovery of additional adult content. This content was not accessible to the general public, and needs a 3rd party modification to access.
Take Two Interactive has posted an apology, and has halted production of the game. It is also working on security features to block access to after market programming, and is also removing the content in question.
