Cingular Wireless and LG Electronics MobileComm today announced two new handsets for customers of the cell phone service. These new GSM phones are the C2000 clamshell camera phone and the lightweight C1500 clamshell phone.
The C2000, priced at $59.99, captures 640×480 snapshots via the integrated VGA camera, Cingular said. Features on this phone include 64-chord polyphonic ringtones, voice-activated dialing, 16MB of memory, a hands-free speakerphone, built-in mirror for self portraits and photo caller id.
The C1500, meanwhile, prices at $29.99. Basic features on this low cost phone include a color filter external display, 64-chord polyphonic sound, speakerphone and 16MB of memory.
