Sierra Entertainment and game developer Mad Doc Software yesterday announced that they’d begun shipping the first expansion pack to Empire Earth II. Empire Earth II: The Art of Supremacy is priced at $29.99 and rated T for Teen by the ESRB.
In Empire Earth II: The Art of Supremacy, said the video game companies, new campaigns, units and civilizations are introduced. Specific to these additions are civilizations such as the French, Russians, Zulu and Maasai and ten combat units such as Zulu Warriors and Russian Howitzers. Other new features include a custom civilization editor for creating civilizations specific to individualized game play styles and native tribes which can be conquered, assimilated, or persuaded to become a fighting ally.
“Empire Earth II had such a great response, that we came to the table knowing we needed to create an expansion worthy of its predecessor,” notes Dr. Ian Davis, CEO of Mad Doc, in a statement. “We wanted to offer up new civs, new campaigns, new scenarios — lots of new content to expand the game. Yet when it came down to it, we wanted to add something new to the gameplay experience as well for fans. I like adding in new twists and turns — I love keeping players on their toes, giving it a little push. There’s enough here to make fans of the series very happy.”
