2K Games, a Take-Two Interactive Software publishing label, and Bethesda Softworks today said that their long awaited computer role playing game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion had gone gold and would be available in stores during the week of March 20. The game is set to appear for the PC and Xbox 360 in both regular and collector’s editions.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, said the two companies, is an open-ended single player RPG which will reportedly provide one of the most life-like gaming experiences of its kind. Players will be to unravel the main quest or explore the vast world at their own pace. This title is the fourth chapter in the Elder Scrolls series that began with The Elder Scrolls: Arena over ten years ago.
