Infamous: Second Son, the next superhuman open-world adventure from Sucker Punch, comes to the PlayStation 4 on March 21, 2014. The news is confirmed in a new trailer that debuted during the console’s midnight launch event. Also, hey … the PlayStation 4 is out. Like, you can go buy one right now. Provided you pre-ordered it, that is. Fear not though: you should be able to get your hands on one by March 2014, if Infamous is something you’re into.

The trailer offers some new cinematic looks at the game, all set to the strains of Dead Sara’s cover of the 1993 Nirvana song, “Heart-Shaped Box.” No new revelations about the game here, but a release date is good. Now that the PS4 is here, it’ll take no more than a week for the gaming Internet to start making noise about the dearth of quality games.

Get these 6 PlayStation VR2 launch games to showcase its features

If you're planning on buying a PlayStation VR2 at launch, be prepared for an intimidating process as you decide which games to pick up first. Early adopters will have a lot of options to choose from, as Sony's latest headset will support over 40 games at launch. The bulk of those, though, are ports of preexisting VR games from the past few years. That makes it a little tricky to figure out which games actually showcase what the PSVR2 is capable of and which will feel like a dated experience that doesn't benefit from new tech.

PlayStation Plus just set a new first-party precedent with Horizon Forbidden West

Sony revealed the games coming to PlayStation Plus Premium and PlayStation Plus Extra this month on February 21, and it's the best month that the service has had since it launched in the summer of 2022. Not only are some great PS1 classics like The Legend of Dragoon and Wild Arms 2 coming to the service, but Horizon Forbbiden West is getting added as well.
Horizon Forbidden West coming to the service one year after launch is a big deal because Sony has been resistant to putting recent first-party PS5 games on its subscription service. While it's still not adding first-party titles on day one like Xbox Game Pass does, this is possibly our first indication of how Sony will handle adding its own games to the subscription. It's not the only PS4 and PS5 title coming to the service this month either, as the following strong lineup of games was also confirmed to be coming on February 21.
