Nintendo Dominates UK Games Sales

Nintendo Dominates UK Games SalesIf you want proof that Nintendo is on a roll these days, just look at the British video game charts. Eight of the top 10 titles are exclusives for either thecompany’s Wii or DS gaming systems. The other two are multi-platform games, which can also be played on Nintendomachines.   That said, the cross-platform Transformers game –based on the movie, which was based on the TV show for kids – has the top spot, showing the power of cross media marketing (theother multi-platform game also comes from a film, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix).   Of the other eight titles, Pokemon Diamond (for the DS) is in the number two slot, with Wii Playcoming in third.   It all underscores the success Nintendo has enjoyed recently. The Wii has sold over nine and a quarter million units since it was introduced last year. That compares to 10million Xvox 360s, but that unit has been available for a year longer. The Ds, a handheld device, has sold some 45 million units in three years.   The popular Brain Training series has twotitles in the best sellers (Brain Training and More Brain Training), while Pokemon also has Pokemon Pearl, all for the DS.

However, not every game on the Switch is suitable for a party environment. These games need to be more than just multiplayer games — they need to be titles that are easy for anyone to pick up and play.

The first party lineup of Switch games contains a majority of the best party games. No one knows its hardware better than Nintendo, and it's gone out of its way to craft some perfect party games that even people who don't traditionally play games can have fun with, similar to the Wii. That being said, there are way more games on the Switch that can be perfect for small and large gatherings of friends and family. If you want to spice up a party with some games, here are the best party games for Nintendo Switch.
