Another day, another batch of iPod docks. Although Memorex has released share of vanilla iPod stereos in the past, its latest duo of docks step outside the norm a bit with full clock radio functionality, allowing users to wake up to their favorite tunes instead of annoying morning DJs.
The company’s low-end entry, the Mi4019, features a low, squatty base with a top-side dock connector and large front display. Besides a small footprint that won’t add much clutter to a crowded nightstand, it also includes a flip-down door to hide its iPod connectors when they aren’t in use.
The slightly pricier iWakeUp Clock Radio adopts bigger speakers, softer edges, and a more vertical form that nestles the iPod dock down between its towering stereo speakers. Unlike the Mi4019, it also includes a remote for switching up your songs from afar when you’re not slamming the snooze button from under the covers.
Both docks are available immediately. The Mi4019 retails for $39.99, while the iWakeUp is priced at $69.99.
