Iogear Debuts Wireless USB-to-VGA Kit

If you’ve ever been using your notebook computer in your living room while watching TV and thought to yourself, “Hey, this is screwy: I should be using the big screen for the computer!” then Iogear has a solution coming your way. Iogear’s Wireless USB to VGA Kit enables users to stream high-definition (720p) video data from their PC to an HD-capable TV to to 30 feet away with no cable clutter. Even better, once you’re connected to the HDTV, you can use its picture-in-picture capabilities to keep tabs on your favorite channels while you deal with email, update your Facebook profile, or, um, work.

“As today’s consumers become increasingly mobile, we want to cater to their on-the-go lifestyle and offer solutions that work with them everywhere,” said Iogear executive VP Miranda Su, in a statement. “Our new Wireless USB to VGA Kit utilizes wireless technologies to simplify set-up processes for an easier work or entertainment environment.”

The Starlink Standard Kit in use outdoors.

If you're on the hunt for internet deals because you want to replace your current connection or you want an additional network for your home, you may want to sign up for a Starlink subscription. Here's your opportunity: Today you can get the Starlink Standard Kit with a $200 discount from Best Buy, dropping the bundle's price to $300 from $500. The monthly service plan is a different cost, but at least you can pocket some savings with your purchase of the necessary hardware with this offer. You have to act fast though, as we're not sure how much time is remaining on this bargain.

Why you should buy the Starlink Standard Kit
Before you proceed with buying the Starlink Standard Kit, you should first understand what is Starlink. It's a service that provides broadband-level internet access using a constellation of satellites in space, which you can connect to through a satellite receiver. Unlike other satellite internet services, Starlink's satellites operate at a lower orbit for faster speeds and better latency, for download speeds of between 50 and 150 Mbps and upload speeds of around 10 Mbps.

AMD’s best chip makes its debut in first handheld
The GPD Pocket 4 handheld in various configurations.

Is it a laptop? Is it a tablet? Is it a gaming handheld? No, it's just the new GPD Pocket 4, and it's a bit of all three -- although without much of an emphasis on "gaming." Unlike the Steam Deck, GPD's new mini-PC packs some of the latest hardware and could blow away its competitors.

Obviously, the form factor of this thing is fascinating, but the AMD Zen 5 chip under the hood is equally interesting. GPD's Pocket 4 will be the first handheld to use one of AMD's best processors, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 (12 cores/24 threads) and the Radeon 890M iGPU. This should give it a leg up in performance over systems like the ROG Ally X, especially when it comes to gaming.
