Booq Python Mirrorless keeps camera at-hand, with extra space for phone or tablet

For extremely active shooters looking for a bag that keeps their camera available at all times, while providing a high level of protection, the compact Python Mirrorless camera case is designed for them.

Made by Booq, the Python Mirrorless is a top-loading, shoulder-held camera case created specifically with the nomadic photographer in mind. Part of the Python collection, it’s a sibling to the Booq Python, which is a larger backpack hauling a ton of gear.

As the name implies, the case can hold a mirrorless camera, but it can also accommodate a compact DSLR camera plus some accompanying accessories. Everything is kept safe thanks to the durable, 1680 denier ballistic nylon that is both impact- and water-resistant. The bag’s interior is lined with thick padding and a removable padded divider to help organize and store the gear you need for your photo project; bring your charger, lenses, memory cards, and whatever will fit, without fear of damaging or leaving anything behind.

Zipper pockets on the top, front, and back sides of the bag allow for quick access to your smartphone, tablet, extra batteries, or any other precious items you need at your side.

A 50mm-wide seatbelt-nylon shoulder strap comes standard with the bag, so you’ll be able to support your gear properly without holding you up from taking that great shot whenever and wherever inspiration strikes you.

“A photographer’s main objective is to have the necessary gear to get the perfect shot without being weighed down,” says Booq Lead Designer S. Kema Subsomboon. “We designed the Python Mirrorless to be practical and compact, so that today’s digital-age photographer can have their camera, cell phone, form of tablet, and other necessities neatly tucked away and at a moment’s notice, making their job or hobby easier and more enjoyable.”

The Python Mirrorless, like other Booq products, is equipped with a Terraling serial number that can be used to locate your bag should you ever get separated from it.

You can purchase the Python Mirrorless for $80 from Booq.

Best microSD cards in 2023: top picks for your computer, camera, or drone
galaxy s8 tips and tricks

MicroSD cards are an unsung hero in the mobile space. They provide extra storage space for your smartphone, but they're also key in tablets, drones, and security cameras. Unfortunately, this feature is falling out of favor in the smartphone space, and most flagship and midrange phones no longer have a slot to insert a microSD card. Even the most expensive phones around, like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Samsung S22 Ultra don't have a microSD card slot anymore. You're not even safe if you have an iPhone or iPad, as they've never had microSD card slots.

But all is not lost! Some of the best Android phones and best Android tablets do still support them, and they're still required for use with cameras, security cameras, and drones. But no matter which device you're buying it for, you'll want to get your hands on a microSD card from a reputable brand.
