Halo: Reach Coming Fall 2010

Halo is turning into a major franchise. With a new game out a few months ago, production is already underway on the next one, Halo: ODST, and the announcement of a follow-up to that, Halo: Reach, there’s plenty happening in Haloworld.

At E3, Bungie was offering a demo of Halo: ODST and answering some questions about Halo: Reach. Most specifically, a studio spokesman was asked about the game beta, to which Halo: ODST users will be invited.

“We don’t have an actual firm date for it yet, but I don’t anticipate it being day and date with [ODST],” he told El33tonline. “I can say you will need the Halo 3: ODST disc to access the beta when it does become available. I can confirm that that beta will go live sometime between the release of Halo 3: ODST on September 22nd and the release of Halo: Reach next fall.”

The company also showed a trailer tease for Halo: Reach.

No Man’s Sky’s ‘near-impossible’ Switch port is coming this fall

No Man's Sky will launch for Nintendo Switch on October 7, 2022, according to an announcement on the game's official Twitter account. Physical editions for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 will launch the same day alongside digital versions.

Hello Games, the team behind No Man's Sky, first announced the Switch port in a February 2022 Nintendo Direct, with a summer release window, so October 7 is a bit later than expected. Sean Murray, founder and CEO of Hello Games, refers to the port as a "near-impossible" undertaking, but based on the footage shown, it looks to be running smoothly.
