Lindsay Lohan suing Rockstar for using her likeness in GTA V

Actress and consistent source of tabloid drama Lindsay Lohan is suing Rockstar Games over Grand Theft Auto V, claiming that the developers created a character skewering her image and persona without permission (via

The character in question, Lacey Jonas, is a tabloid-prone starlet who seeks your help in a random event mission to get her home while avoiding paparazzi. There is also a separate mission in which you are hired to snap illicit photographs of another starlet having sex in Los Santos’ version of the Chateau Marmont hotel, where Lohan once lived.

The suit claims that the Lacey Jonas character is an “unequivocal” reference to Lohan, imitating her image, voice, and clothing style.

Rockstar Games and publisher Take-Two Interactive have thus far declined to comment.
