Motorola CLIQ Arrives in T-Mobile Stores Today

T-Mobile announced that the Motorola CLIQ was released to stores and available nationwide today. This is Motorola’s first Android phone, but the release seems like ancient history with the Motorola Droid constantly overshadowing this Moto-Android pioneer. The CLIQ includes Motorola’s MOTOBLUR, a device managing feature that integrates various communications—from work e-mail to social networking activity. MOTOBLUR updates to contacts, posts, messages, photos and more are streamed together and synced from sources including Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Gmail, work and personal e-mail, and automatically delivered to the home screen of the CLIQ in easy-to-view streams.

T-Mobile says the CLIQ “delivers a powerful 3G mobile Web experience by harnessing the strength and speed of T-Mobile’s 3G network and Wi-Fi.” This new Android phone from Motorola is available in two colors – Titanium and Winter White. The CLIQ features a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3.1-inch HVGA full touch-screen display, support for T-Mobile’s high-speed 3G network and Wi-Fi, a 5 megapixel auto-focus camera with video capture, a 3.5mm headset jack, a music player with pre-loaded Amazon MP3 store application, Shazam, iMeem Mobile, AccuWeather, MySpace Mobile, Quickoffice and a pre-installed 2GB microSD memory.
