No car is perfect, but the Jaguar F-TYPE comes pretty darn close. It’s combination of stunning styling and intoxicating performance is hard to beat.
The tuners at Arden think they’ve found some room for improvement, though. The German company recently announced a list of upgrades for the F-TYPE that cover both styling and performance.
Visual changes start added spats for the front spoiler, are color-coded (digitally rendered here) with other trim pieces for a nice bit of contrast. Aston Martin might accuse Arden of copying its grille “lipstick,” though. The hood ornament isn’t exactly tasteful, either.
Arden also equipped the F-TYPE with its own 21-inch alloy wheels, and lowered the suspension. While the car is now what the kids call “stanced,” the massive wheels and rubber-band tires may have an adverse effect on performance.

Speaking of performance, software tweaks have boosted output from the F-TYPE R Coupe’s 5.0-liter supercharged V8 from 550 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque to a supercar-challenging 582 hp and 538 lb-ft.
Or, Arden will fiddle with the supercharger and exhaust system and extract 150 hp and 110 pound-feet of torque over stock. Because who wouldn’t want a 700 hp Jaguar?
So far, Arden is offering these options a la carte, with the wheels costing around $11,900 a set, and the engine software tuning priced at approximately $8,464. U.S. availability hasn’t been discussed yet.
The supercharger and exhaust upgrade will start around $40,600, so it may be more efficient to just strap another car to your F-TYPE.
