Additional leaked images have fully revealed the Audi TT Sportback concept ahead of its scheduled debut at next week’s Paris Motor Show.
The TT Sportback stretches a little over 175 inches long, meaning it’s about the same length as the A3 Sedan and roughly 11 inches longer than a third-gen TT coupe. The leaked sketch hints the concept is nearly identical to the TT from the front bumper to the A-pillar, but it stands out thanks to a long, gently-sloping roofline and a rear fascia that borrows design cues from the larger A5 Sportback.

As expected, the TT Sportback is equipped with the fully digital virtual cockpit that was inaugurated by the TT coupe in Geneva last March. The concept offers space for up to four passenger and it can carry 30 cubic feet of cargo when the rear seats are folded flat.
German magazine Auto Zeitung reports the TT Sportback is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter TFSI four-cylinder engine tuned to generate a massive 400 horsepower. Power is sent to all four wheels via Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system.
Although the TT Sportback is merely a design study, it could be added to the Audi lineup as a regular-production model in time for the 2017 model year if it generates a favorable response from the show-going public in Paris. If built, it will be billed as a sleeker alternative to the aforementioned A3 Sedan and fight head-to-head against the Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class.
In addition to the TT Sportback concept, Audi will present the production-bound third-generation TT Roadster at the Paris show.
