The mysterious Revan is leading a fanatical army to rain down chaos and destruction onto both the Empire and the Republic in Shadow of Revan, an upcoming story expansion for Electronic Arts and BioWare’s MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic. The expansion will add five new levels of story content, a raised level cap of 60, and a host of other new endgame content.
Revan, a hero of the Jedi Civil War, has returned with an extremist sect of “Revanites” and an apocalyptic plan to reshape the galaxy, in the process bringing down both the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic. Players will face off against Revan while meeting a variety of colorful characters like Theron Shan and Jakarro the Wookie.

Players who pre-order for $20 between now and November 2 will receive a week of early access to the new content on December 2, a statue of Revan for their player stronghold, and the bonus digital expansion, Rise of the Hutt Cartel. Pre-ordering between November 1 and December 1 will still net you the statue and expansion, but not the early access. Subscribers who pre-order are incentivized with a limited 12x experience boost on class story missions through level 55 or December 1, helping them get up to speed for Revan’s arrival.
Shadow of Revan launches on December 9.
