Rockstar gave Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas an HD remaster for Xbox 360

A high-definition remaster of Xbox-era classic Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is coming to Xbox 360’s Games On Demand store for download on October 26, Rockstar Games confirmed. The enhanced version features a 720p resolution, improved draw distance, and Achievements (22 of which you can find listed at the source link).

Note that save files will not transfer over from the Xbox Originals version of San Andreas that was previously available in the Xbox 360’s store. Owners of the original will still be able to access it, with the option to purchase the new version alongside it if they want the new coat of paint and Gamerscore fodder.

On October 18, Sony will add a hefty list of games to the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog, including Grand Theft Auto: Vice City -- The Definitive Edition. The company shared the full list of titles being added to the games library, featuring over 20 new games. The lineup is comprised of a wide variety of games from the Dragon Quest and Assassin's Creed series, along with a handful of horror gems, as well.

The Grand Theft Auto series is one of the most influential in all of gaming. The game design, specifically starting with Grand Theft Auto 3, sent ripples not only through how other games were made but even pop culture at large. Rockstar Games hacker reportedly arrested following GTA 6 leak

Last weekend, someone hacked Rockstar Games and leaked over 90 videos of the still-in-development Grand Theft Auto 6. Now, the City of London Police in the United Kingdom reportedly arrested the 17-year-old individual responsible for the hack.

BBC and the City of London Police's Twitter account confirmed the arrest took place in Oxfordshire earlier today. The official statement only says that this 17-year-old individual was arrested "on suspicion of hacking, as part of an investigation supported by the NCA UK's National Cyber Crime Unit," but journalist Matthew Keys reports that this is the person who leaked Grand Theft Auto 6 after they hacked Rockstar Games (and possibly hacked Uber as well).
