The next James Bond movie may have found its villain, as Inglorious Basterds‘ Nazi “Jew Hunter,” Christoph Waltz, will reportedly line up opposite Daniel Craig’s iconic super-spy in the upcoming film.
The Daily Mail columnist Baz Bamigboye reported the casting via Twitter this week, adding that the still-untitled film begins shooting in December 2014 in several major cities. The studio has yet to confirm the report, so this should be considered a rumor until an official announcement is made.

If the report proves true, the two-time Oscar winner will join Craig (the only confirmed cast member at this point) in a cast that’s also rumored to include Léa Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, and Dave Bautista. Bautista was recently rumored to be vying for the role of an iconic henchman character that the studio was searching for an actor to fill over the summer.
Director Sam Mendes reprises his role behind the camera for the next Bond, which is scheduled to hit theaters November 6, 2015. Little is known about the plot of the film at this point, other than what the aforementioned casting details hint at for the follow-up to 2012’s Skyfall.
