Ubisoft celebrates The Division’s Incursions with a launch trailer

‘s The Division has finally received its first true endgame content in the form of the (not) raid missions dubbed “Incursions.” To get players up to speed on the story so far and the reason for jumping into a squad to tackle new missions, Ubisoft has accompanied the update with a new trailer.

“We’ve received reports from the JTF indicating LMB movement in the WarrenGate Water Treatment Plant,” the narrator states. “HQ are pushing to bomb the site, but this plant is vital for the recovery of New York. Falcon Squad was sent to scout the area, but they’ve gone dark.”

Given the title of the first Incursion, “Falcon Lost,” this line seems especially fitting.

As we previously reported, the new update also gives players the ability to trade loot with their teammates, and this looks to be as simple as dropping an item on the ground and letting your friend pick it up. Given the difficulty of Incursions, this should eliminate the frustration of failing to receive loot drops that plagues many other online games.

The trailer also gives a brief look at the new activities you’ll be doing in the Dark Zone. No longer will you simply walk the streets looking for rogue agents to kill: uncontaminated supply drops will be sent into the PvP area, setting up enormous firefights where everyone suddenly becomes an enemy.

These are being sent by “Strategic Homeland Defense,” but it has still not been made clear just why so many Division agents have decided to start attacking each other to receive the best loot. A narrative conceit could be that certain players are themselves members of the LMB, or “Last Man Battalion,” but as they’re the enemy in Falcon Lost, this doesn’t hold too much water.

Are you ready to jump back into The Division, or has it already run its course? Let us know in the comments!

The Division 3: everything we know so far
division 2 e3 2018 raids dlc the

For many fans of looter-shooters, it's hard to find a series quite as compelling as The Division. With two successful games in the franchise already under its belt, Ubisoft is clearly aware that it's a meaningful part of its ever-expanding catalog, so it's unsurprising that it's hard at work on a third entry. With the advent of newer hardware and a heap of lessons learned from the first two games, The Division 3 is all but certain to land with a bang and further cement the franchise as one of Ubisoft's most beloved.

We know The Division 3 is in development at Massive Entertainment with Julian Gerighty as the executive producer. Beyond that, though, not much has been shared about what to expect from the game yet. Even so, here's everything we know about The Division 3.
Release date
The Division 3 does not currently have a release date. And since the game hasn't even received any trailer yet, it's safe to assume we probably won't see it until at least 2025 — though stranger things have happened.

Star Wars Outlaws to add fan-favorite Hondo Ohnaka in post-launch DLC
A ship flies through space in Star Wars Outlaws.

Ubisoft announced the post-launch road map for the upcoming Star Wars Outlaws in a blog post on Monday, and will introduce two paid story packs, one of which is coming out this fall.

The first DLC, titled Wild Card, is set for fall 2024. It involves Outlaws' main character Kay Vess going undercover at a "high-stakes Sabacc tournament," where she runs into Lando Calrissian. The second, set for spring 2025, is called A Pirate's Fortune and features, as Star Wars: The Clone Wars or Galaxy's Edge fans might guess, pirate king Hondo Ohnaka, who is looking to "settle old scores."
