Lotus reveals its new Exige 360 Cup with race-ready hardware and 355 supercharged HP

Lotus has revealed a new Exige special edition, dubbed the 360 Cup. As the name would suggest, the 360 Cup benefits from an extra dose of power to bring output up to 360 PS/355 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque from a tweaked version of the Exige S’s supercharged 3.5-liter V6. The only available transmission is a six-speed manual transmission.

In addition to the extra grunt, the Exige 360 Cup features a Stealth matte roof, Motorsport Red accents, and a Metallic Black, Metallic Grey, Metallic Silver, or Metallic White paint job. Other exterior enhancements include LED daytime running lights, a rear louvered cover, and 17 or 18-inch alloy wheels with Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires.

Inside, Lotus lightly refreshed the 360 Cup with black SuedeTex sport seats, red contrast stitching, and a polished aluminum gearshift knob. Predictably, there’s also Exige 360 Cup badging and embroidery on the seats and dash.

For the racing enthusiasts, Lotus obliges with Alcantara trim, a fire extinguisher, and an electrical cut-off switch. Optional is a removable steering wheel and FIA-spec carbon fiber seats.

Thanks to the boost in performance, the Exige 360 Cup gets from zero-to-60 mph in 3.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 170 mph. Handling improvements include an adjustable suspension, an electronic locking differential, and four driving modes: drive, sport, race, and the ever-exciting “off.” For more corner-carving potential, buyers can add adjustable anti-roll bars and Öhlins race dampers.

In the words of Lotus CEO Jean-Marc Gales, “The V6 Cup was a favourite amongst many knowledgeable customers with its incredible track performance and distinctive design. I am excited about the introduction of the new 360 Cup which moves the game forward with striking new design features and performance upgrades that offer phenomenal ability on road and track.”

Only 50 units of the Lotus Exige 360 Cup are planned, each priced at £62,995 (~$99,000 USD).
