Dubbed the C720P-2600, Acer’s newest Chromebook is equipped with an Intel Celeron 2955U Haswell processor, an 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 LED-backlit 10 point touchscreen display, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, a 32GB SSD, and 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi. It’ll also be available in a new color; Moonstone White.

Weighing just under three pounds (2.98 to be exact) and wielding a frame that’s 0.78 inches thick, the Acer C720P-2600 Chromebook also includes USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, as well as an HDMI-out in the event that you’d like to hook up the C720P-2600 to a TV or other HDMI-ready gear. The C720P-2600 also includes a built-in webcam, and a pair of integrated speakers. Acer claims that the C720P-2600 can endure up to 7.5 hours of use before conking out, as well as a lightning quick boot time of 7 seconds.

Anyone who grabs the C720P-2600 will also get 100GB of free Google Drive storage, as well as a dozen free Gogo in-air Internet access passes that allow you to log on and surf the Web during flights.

Though an exact release date for the C720P-2600 hasn’t been revealed, Acer says that it will be available sometime in “early January” and sell for $299.99.
