For a limited time, when you order the Alienware Aurora R16 (Intel Core i9 w/ RTX 4090) through Dell, you’ll spend $3,700, as opposed to $4,700. What can you do with the $1,000 you saved? Why not take a look at some of the best monitor deals we’ve flagged?

Why you should buy the Alienware Aurora R16

Alienware is a renowned Dell sub-label that specializes in gaming PCs and laptops. We had the opportunity to sit down with the Aurora R16 a while back, and its chart-topping performance floored us! Desktop configurations are all unique, though, and this particular version of the R16 comes with an Intel Core i9 CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, 64GB of RAM, and 4TB of storage. That is one souped-up gaming PC!

When it comes to cooling, the Aurora R16 employs larger passageways and improved internal cable management to reduce the thermal load on the PC, leading to quieter and cooler-running peripherals. The R16 is also Alienware’s first foray into its Legend 3 industrial design. This chassis brings a sleek and modern look to the table while keeping the cosmetic bells and whistles to a minimum.

Are you ready to start gaming? You’ll be able to use the Alienware Command Center to customize RGB lighting and track the performance of your CPU, GPU, and other R16 vitals. Perfection is hard to come by, but the R16 gets pretty close!

It’s hard to say how long this discount is going to last, so now could be the best time to buy. Save $1,000 when you order the Alienware Aurora R16 (Intel Core i9 w/ RTX 4090). Oh, and before you head out, you should check out some of the other great Alienware deals we’ve been logging!

A woman using the Dell G16 gaming laptop in a coffee shop.

Gaming laptops have come a long way from the past few years when they used to be massive and bulky, and if you're looking for a great mid-range option, this configuration of the Dell G16 is worth checking out. The Dell G16 is actually an updated version of the older G15, which was a bit of a workhorse when it comes to budget-oriented gaming laptops. In this case, you get a great laptop with an RTX 40-series GPU from Dell directly for just $1,300, which is $450 off the usual $1,750 it goes for.

Why you should buy the Dell G16 Gaming Laptop
As the name might suggest, the Dell G16 comes with a 16-inch screen that runs a 2560 x 1600 resolution, with the ability to hit a whopping 240Hz refresh rate, which is perfect for those who enjoy playing competitive games. Under the hood you get yourself an RTX 4070 mobile, which is roughly equivalent to the performance of a desktop RTX 4060. Even so, it's a solid card for gaming at 2K, although you will have to make some graphical compromises, especially if you're aiming for higher refresh rates than 100 or so.

Alienware Aurora R16 sitting on a coffee table.

What once was $3,200 is now $2,500. The Alienware Aurora R16 is our top choice of the best gaming desktops and it's now $700 off. It has a 4080 Super, 2TB of SSD storage, and 32GB of RAM, not to mention a gorgeous look to it that invokes the mental imagery of an under-the-water alien cultist research lab. If this is enough to count you as interested, go ahead and tap the button below to find the computer on sale. Otherwise, keep reading and we'll dive into the details about why you should consider this desktop and what exactly put it so high on our list.

Why you should buy the Alienware Aurora R16
You should note that the configuration of the Alienware Aurora R16 on sale today is a sort of super version of the one covered in our Aurora R16 review, though most aspects are similar. One thing to note from the review, in particular, is that our reviewer found that "the Aurora R16 sacrifices very little by being a prebuilt." This means that you don't need to be a BIOS-understanding, static-electricity defying computer wizard to get a great final product. Its also worth pointing out just how good and reserved this PC looks, especially when compared to the overly bright and flashy competition. This PC looks fun, but it is also a step in the right direction maturity-wise. Finally, for the biggest difference between the review model and the one on sale, the graphics card, be sure to check out our RTX 4080 Super review, which covers that component specifically.
