Fujitsu Computer Systems at CES last week unveiled two new notebook computers powered by dual core Intel Centrino Duo mobile technology and designed to serve as desktop replacement computers. Both the LifeBook N6410 and LifeBook E8110 are expected to be available in the first half of this year.
The LifeBook N6410 is what Fujitsu is calling their new flagship notebook. This 17†laptop runs Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. Features on this particular model include the ATI Mobility Radeon x1400 graphics controller, up to 2GB of DDR2 667Mhz memory, up to 320GB of dual hard drives and Intel’s PRO/Wireless 3945ABG network connection.
The LifeBook E8110 is slimmer than its N6410 sibling. It sports a 15†XGA display and offers up features such as a spill-resistant keyboard, BIOS-based password and 2x the regular battery life.
