Dell today introduced two notebook computers which support Intel’s Core Duo processors. The new Inspiron E1505 and Inspiron 6400 both have a starting configuration price of $929 and are available now.
Dell’s new Inspiron laptops, said the computer maker, can be equipped with either Intel Core Duo or Core Solo processors. The E1505 is targeted more towards entertainment minded consumers and comes with Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. Features in common on the two models include a 15.4†widescreen display, one-button access to digital media without having to start Windows and an integrated 5-in-1 media card reader.
Other features available on various configurations of these two models can include up to 2GB of shared 533 DDR2 memory, Intel integrated GMA 950 graphics, a serial ATA hard drive up to 200GB and internal Intel Pro/Wireless 3945 (802.11a/b/g, 54Mbps) and Dell Wireless or internal Dell 350 Bluetooth options.
