how to watch microsoft event oct 6 october post 2
Not to be outdone by Google and Apple’s press events last month, Microsoft is readying a slew of big announcements on its next line of Windows 10 devices. The event will be streamed live on October 6th, at 10 a.m. Eastern, 7 a.m. Pacific Time, and we’ve got the lowdown on how to watch it as well as what we expect to see during the press conference.

Currently, Microsoft is teasing the event on its website. The landing page for the event will be your portal for watching it live on PC, but for now the page serves as a means for setting up a calendar entry for you, so you don’t miss the event. The page will automatically add a reminder to the calendar of your choosing — Outlook, Google Calendar, iCal, and Yahoo. When the event begins, you’ll be able to watch it live from the same link. Xbox One and Xbox 360 users will be able to stream the event via their console’s dash board.

Right off the bat, it’s clear that Microsoft is readying announcements about its newest OS, Windows 10, and the devices that run it. Due to some gaffe’s on Microsoft’s part, we can reasonably expect the official announcement of its next flagship phones: the Lumia 950 and 950 XL. It’s also likely we will see other devices, such as a new Surface Pro tablet, not to mention plenty of information about new build of Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile. And that’s just what we can confidently speculate on; who knows what other big announcements Microsoft may have waiting.
