Do you want a big, affordable, 4K monitor that can wow your friends and make image editing a pleasure? BenQ's BL3201PH might be what you need, but its impressive size doesn't come without a few sacrifices.
Dell U3415W UltraWide curved monitor

Dell UltraSharp U3415W review

Ultra-wide monitors have become a fad, but many of the sets are targeted at consumers with thick wallets rather than photographers or video editors. The Dell UltraSharp U3415W is different, but does it make sense compared to 4K panels?
Dell UP2715K

Dell UP2715K review

Apple may have released a 5K display first, but its Retina with iMac can't be used as a monitor. If you have a PC, or you'd like to use a 5K monitor as a second display, Dell's UP2715K is the only game in town.
LG 34UC97 front angle

LG 34UC97 review

Have you ever felt that your monitor is a bit too narrow? You certainly won't have that problem with LG's 34UC97, which measures nearly three feet wide, but what you gain in size you pay for elsewhere.
Acer B326HK 4K monitor front

Acer B326HK review

If there’s anywhere the Acer HB236K shows it's worth the price, it's in the sense of awe you’ll feel turning it on for the first time. Fresh out of the foam packaging the display stuns anyone caught in its gorgeous glare, an effect made all the more noticeable by the company’s decision to use stunning IPS technology.
Samsung UD970 4K monitor

Samsung U32D970Q review

Paying thousands for a display sounds crazy, but it'll make sense when you see what Samsung's new U32D970Q 4K monitor can do.

U.S.A! U.S.A! Local tech firm CTL puts out a cheap 4K monitor that delivers surprisingly solid image quality, and more.

Acer XB280HK review

The Acer XB280HK is the only monitor that boasts 4K resolution and Nvidia G-Sync support. Does this pairing deliver a gaming experience like no other?

AOC G2770PQU review

AOC's 27-inch 1080p G2770PQU display has a 144Hz refresh rate, and only costs $350. That seems like a steal, but AOC has to offer more than speed.

Samsung S27D590P review

Samsung's 27-inch S27D590P monitor provides excellent image quality at a low price, but how does it compare to the competition?

AOC mySmart A2472PW4T review

AOC's 24-inch all-in-one sells for less than $400 on Amazon. Can a low price make up for the use of Android over Windows?
Samsung S27D390H review main full

Samsung S27D390H review

Samsung's sizable S27D390H display is available for just $289, which is an outstanding value given its size and use of PLS panel tech.
LG 34UM95 review monitor front display

LG 34UM95 review

LG’s 34UM95 is positioned to be the flagship of ultra-wide PC displays, but it fails to measure up due to a few blemishes.

Dell p2714t front screen

Though Dell’s P2314T boasts a reclining stand and attractive design, this display is a bit expensive. Can this Dell provide the image quality its price promises?

Samsung S27C750 front top angle

Samsung Series 7 S27C750P review

Consumers looking for a big yet affordable monitor may choose to consider the Series 7 S27C750P, which retails for just $379. While not the cheapest monitor in its category, this Samsung promises superior contrast and good color accuracy with its MVA panel technology. Does it deliver?
Dell P2014HT monitor on

Dell P2014Ht review

There are a lot of small monitors available, and most of them aren’t very good. The Dell P2014Ht, however, looks like it could be an exception; it has an IPS panel, an adjustable stand and plenty of inputs. Is this 20-incher the perfect display for a space-constrained workstation?
dell p2714t review front screen

Dell P2714T review

Dell’s P2714T is one of the first 27-inch touchscreen monitors to hit the market. This provides an immersive experience, but only at an intimidating MSRP of $699, which is enough to buy some professional-grade displays. Can this touch monster justify itself, or is the touch tax still too much?
Samsung SB971 Monitor front angle

Samsung Series 9 S27B971D review

Unlike most monitors, which come from the factory with lackluster default settings, the Samsung Series 9 is calibrated at the factory. This should make it capable of amazing color from the moment it’s plugged in, but can such a convenience justify the incredible $1,200 MSRP?

LG 29EA93 Review

LG tries its hand at building an ultra-wide screen desktop monitor for under $600. The resolution and screen space is nice to have, but don’t expect miracles in high definition movie viewing or ultra-wide screen gaming.

HP 27xi Review

The HP Pavilion 27xi is a sharp-looking PC display offering good image quality. While we'd prefer a higher resolution, the affordable price makes up for it.

LG IPS235V Review

LG’s IPS235 eschews brightness and exciting industrial design in favor of respectable color accuracy at a consumer-friendly price.

HP 2311gt Review

The HP 2311gt offers passive 3D on a budget, but may leave users looking for a bright, vivid 2D monitor underwhelmed.

The HP x2301 LED Micro Thin monitor looks thin enough to belong on a laptop, but manages not to sacrifice picture quality for its unique industrial design.

Lenovo L215P Review

A handful of forgettable extras don't really justify the premium this monitor demands.

Asus VW266H Review

A blend of size, screen quality and features topped with a reasonable price make the VW266H a gem.
Senior Editor, Computing

Luke Larsen is a Senior Editor at Digital Trends and manages all content covering laptops, Macs, monitors, PC hardware, and peripherals. Around here we call it “computing,” but here’s a good rule of thumb: If it’s a computer or something that plugs into a computer, you found your guy. Oh, and these days, AI too. So much AI.

After getting a degree in music from the University of Oregon, Luke started his career in media hoping to get into music journalism. But when the opportunity arose, he landed in tech and hasn’t looked back since. He has over a decade of tech journalism experience, first joining Digital Trends in 2017 as a native Portlander, happy to join a tech media company that called his city home. Before working at DT, he worked as Tech Editor at Paste Magazine for over four years and has bylines at publications such as IGN, TouchArcade (RIP), and The Oregonian.

In his years at Digital Trends so far, Luke has covered high-profile industry events such as CES, IFA, and Microsoft Build, delivering on-the-ground coverage, breaking news, and first-hand reporting. He’s hosted countless YouTube videos, made podcast appearances, and written over 600 articles.

Some of his earliest tech memories include learning HTML through his MySpace account and trying to play Baldur’s Gate II on his parents’ dusty old beige box. These days, his obsession with technology is in telling stories with tech — in finding the narratives that ebb and flow through both technological advancement and product design, trickling right on down to our day-to-day experience of it. He is convinced that we all spend too much of our time using technology and not enough time thinking about it — cue a healthy dose of navel-gazing and philosophizing.

When he’s not endlessly debating what the best laptop is, Luke spends his days being a dad and a husband. Oh, and when there’s time (which there isn’t), he’s an avid fiction writer, player of designer board games, and still occasionally makes some music.
