enTourage eDGe Makes Its Official Appearance at CES

The eDGe device appeared on the tech front in Fall 2009, but it’s getting its official introduction at CES this week. The enTourage eDGe dualbook eReader is a multi-functional device that has a little bit of everything in it—tablet, netbook, media player and eReader in-one. The enTourage eDGe is a dual-screen, WiFi-enabled electronic device that merges a 9.7” (diagonal) e-paper screen with an LCD screen for ultimate interactivity. This new WiFi-enabled device has some useful features like the built-in noise-cancelling microphone, 1.3 Mega Pixel camera, a virtual keyboard, and an e-paper display that allows users to draw and take notes on.

enTourage says it is building its own e-book store with access to over 200,000 trade books and more than one million free public domain books digitized by Google. And guess what students; its e-book store also includes an abundance of higher education e-textbooks in a variety of subjects from publishers and content frequently adopted by professors for course use from Oxford University Press.

CES 2023: HD Hyundai’s Avikus is an A.I. for autonomous boat and marine navigation

Autonomous vehicle navigation technology is certainly nothing new and has been in the works for the better part of a decade at this point. But one of the most common forms we see and hear about is the type used to control steering in road-based vehicles. That's not the only place where technology can make a huge difference. Autonomous driving systems can offer incredible benefits to boats and marine vehicles, too, which is precisely why HD Hyundai has unveiled its Avikus AI technology -- for marine and watercraft vehicles.

More recently, HD Hyundai participated in the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, to demo its NeuBoat level 2 autonomous navigation system for recreational boats. The name mashes together the words "neuron" and "boat" and is quite fitting since the Avikus' A.I. navigation tech is a core component of the solution, it will handle self-recognition, real-time decisions, and controls when on the water.
