Up and coming wireless MP3 player company MusicGremlin today announced plans for their new wireless digital audio players and direct to device digital music service. The company formally plans to make branded music players available in the first quarter of next year.
The new MusicGremlin player, the company said, is WiFi enabled and comes pre-loaded with an embedded direct to device content service that will allows a user to acquire and wirelessly share tunes. Users will be able to wirelessly download from over two million available songs, which includes content from all four major and 25,000 independent labels, directly to the player through an available WiFi network.
Subscription options for the new service will include an unlimited monthly subscription service as well as an a la carte download and own choice. Subscribers will also get access to pre-programmed, commercial free music playlists which are pushed to the device for regularly fresh content.
