Ring Floodlight Cam is 40% off, and you should totally consider it

Ring floodlight cam on brick wall.

If you’re looking for the best floodlight cameras for added security, the Ring Floodlight Cam is a great option, especially if you’re already in the Amazon ecosystem and can connect your other Amazon devices with the floodlight. If you want to grab one, there’s a great Prime Day deal from Amazon that discounts it to $120 from $200, which is pretty substantial and is a great opportunity to grab two or more if you need to cover your whole house.

Why you should buy the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus

The Ring Floodlight Cam Wires Plus is pretty easy to install if you know how to install a light fixture, and it won’t take long, assuming you’re replacing an existing one. Interestingly enough, the back plate has foam to protect from water intrusion or other elements you’d deal with outside, which is a nice addition and helps avoid having to caulk it yourself. In terms of placement, both lights and Ring Camera can be rotated freely, and you can even place the Ring Camera above rather than below, as is usual. Either way, you’re dealing with two 2,000-lumen floodlights, which are pretty intense and should let you see relatively far away at night and are much more powerful than the spotlight version, as you can see in our breakdown between the Ring Spotlight Cam Pro vs. Ring Floodlight Pro.

As for the video quality, the Ring Cam can do a very smooth and great-looking 1080p, which is certainly helped by its HDR capability. It also has a 140-degree horizontal field of view and an 80-degree vertical field of view, which is respectable, and more than enough to see things coming and going around your property. There’s also an interesting 3D motion detection feature that tells how far away things are from it and can display it on a birds-eye view map as little dots. It’s not a necessary feature, but it’s a nice way to know what’s going on around your property at a moment’s notice. There’s also some surprisingly excellent two-way audio that includes noise cancellation, and if you want to scare people or animals away, there’s a 110-decibel alarm you can use as well.

All in all, the Ring Flooghtligh Cam Wired Plus is easily one of the best smart outdoor floodlights you’ll find on the market, and with such a substantial discount bringing it down to $120, it’s well worth grabbing, especially if you need more than one. That said, if you’d prefer to go with Amazon’s more traditional Ring offerings, there are some great Prime Day Ring Video Doorbell deals to take advantage of.

We gave this TV a perfect review, and it’s $700 off today
Caleb Denison sits in front of the Sony A95K TV playing Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales on the PS5.

It's not every day that you can say that one of the best TVs on the market, if not the best, is on sale, but we're happy to report that's the case today. The Sony A95K QD-OLED TV has one of the best TV deals right now, bringing the price down to $2,798 from $3,500. That's a significant discount and perfect if you want to snatch one up before they all sell out.

Why you should buy the 65-inch Sony A95K QD-OLED TV
The Sony A95K QD-OLED TV has a lot going for it, but its biggest feature is the QD-OLED panel, and it's even the first TV on the market to have come out with one. So what is QD-OLED exactly? Well, it's a hybrid tech that mixes OLED technology with Quantum Dots. What this essentially means is that you get incredible brightness that lets the TV colors pop more than they would with any other panel type. But it's even more impressive than that, especially if you're a gamer or love to watch action-packed content, since the TV not only runs at 4k but also at a 120Hz refresh rate, which is pretty impressive. That means you can connect the best gaming PC to this TV and push even the best graphics cards as far as they go.

The famous Dyson bladeless fan and air purifier is $160 off for Prime Day
The Dyson HP01 air purifier on a white background.

The second and final day of Prime Day deals is almost over. We've seen some great deals on products that aren't often on sale, but tonight is the last chance to take advantage of them. One of the rare deals that's still live is on the Dyson HP01 Pure Hot+Cool. It's a fan, heater and air purifier combo with Dyson's famous bladeless design. It's only $370 right now, down $160 from its usual price of $530. This is the cheapest it's been since 2021. Grab it today or risk paying full price tomorrow.

Why you should buy the Dyson HP01 Pure Hot+Cool fan during Prime Day
The Dyson HP01 Hot+Cool is a fan, air purifier and heater all in one. It does all of that with the quality and style you can expect from a brand like Dyson. The main draw is the air purifier. It's powerful enough to clean 2,860-cubic feet, or about 350-square feet in an average room. It grabs pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, and even gases. Once it grabs them, it filters out 99.97% of them, then recirculates that air. Because of its unique shape, it filters in 360 degrees around itself. It can also oscillate like a regular fan, to help circulate clean air through the whole room.

The Fire TV Stick is 58% off, the cheapest it’s ever been
Two Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max sticks in hand.

Even though most modern TVs come with some form of smart TV platform, that doesn't necessarily mean you'll like it, especially if you're already ingrained in another ecosystem. That's where the Amazon Fire TV stick comes into play, allowing Amazon users to gain access to the Amazon ecosystem with a simple little device, and it's even going for very cheap right now. While it's normally $40, you can grab it for just $17 from Amazon, which is great, especially if you want to grab a couple of different TVs.

Why you should buy the Fire TV Stick
Of course, if you're not familiar with what is the Amazon Fire TV, it's a little device that attaches to your HDMI port and lets you stream directly from the stick, which hosts Amazon's Fire Smart TV platform. Another important thing to know about the Fire TV Stick is that it runs on FHD resolutions only; if you want something that can handle 4k TVs, you should pick up the Fire TV Stick 4K Max, which has many great extra features. Under the plastic, you'll find a dual-core processor, dedicated VideoCore4 GPU, and 1GB of RAM, which may not seem like much, but it still provides a relatively snappy experience when browsing all the channels. There's also 8GB storage to save a couple of episodes of something, and a dual-band, dual-antenna Wi-Fi adapter that provides a strong internet connection so you can stream everything without lag or issues.
