Ring Video Doorbell — $75, was $100
The Ring Video Doorbell on a door frame while a woman touches it.

Home safety is one of the best applications for smart home technology and the Ring Video Doorbell is an easy way to smarten up your security. After a simple and straightforward installation process, you can use the Ring Doorbell's 1080p camera and mobile app to get a clear feed of what's happening at your front door, while the built-in mic and speaker provides two-way communication. You'll also get notifications when you have visitors, and the Ring Video Doorbell can pair with select Alexa devices, such as smart displays, for further integration with your smart home ecosystem.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 — $1400, was $1800
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 in hand.

It took a few tries, but Samsung finally nailed its new folding phone formula with the Galaxy Z Fold 3. Its innovative design features two displays -- one on the front and a large fold-out display when you open the phone up -- that provides a lot of versatility and utility. The phone practically opens up into a mini tablet, and it's great for serious smartphone power-users. It's pricey, though, but the Best Buy 4th of July Sale lets you save big on one when you activate it with one of the major carriers.

HP Laptop 14 — $280, was $400
HP 14 laptop with intel Celeron on desk.

Need a solid workhorse PC? HP has one of the best 4th of July laptop deals on tap right now in this 14-inch number, which sports an Intel Celeron CPU paired with 8GB of RAM. That's twice the memory you typically see at this price point, meaning this laptop won't slow you down. The icing on the cake is the 128GB SSD, which again, is much more than what you normally find in this bracket (where you're often stuck with 64GB of eMMC storage). That's a very good set of specs for less than $300.

Bella Pro Series 4.2-Quart Analog Air Fryer — $40, was $60
cyber monday deals 2022 bella series analog air fryer black friday

Anyone looking for an affordable air fryer to crisp up leftover fries and tots, bake some fresh salmon for dinner, or creating gourmet hot wings for the big game should look no further than the Bella Pro Series Air Fryer, which is down from $60 to just $30 at Best Buy right now -- hands-down one of the best air fryer deals we've seen in a while. Best of all, the tray is dishwasher-safe (unlike most high-priced options) so you don't even really need to clean up after using it.

Apple AirPods Pro — $200, was $249
The <entity>Apple Airpods Pro</entity> in their charging case.

The AirPods Pro are the ultimate earbuds if you're an Apple fan, combining premium design with truly high-end audio. They look great, sound great, and feel great in the ear (a rather important consideration for in-ear headphones that you'll presumably be using a lot), and stand head and shoulders above the regular AirPods as well as much of the competition in the true wireless earbuds space. They're not cheap, but early Prime Day deals are your chance to save a nice chunk of change on a pair of Apple's best buds.

70-inch Insignia F30 Series 4K TV — $500, was $650
Insignia F50 QLED TV placed on a TV stand displaying streaming apps.

Best Buy’s 4th of July Sale has a killer deal on this big-screen Fire TV from Insignia. The F30 Series 4K television sets up in minutes and lets you stream all of your favorite content from Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, Disney+, and more in crisp Ultra HD, and it comes with a handy Alexa Voice Remote for hands-free control. It’s a great option by itself, but especially so if you have an Alexa smart home ecosystem you can add it to, as you can control your other Alexa-compatible devices through the TV.

Amazon’s 4th of July sale brings a big discount on the Ring Video Doorbell
A person pressing the button of the Ring Video Doorbell 3.

Amazon helped the industry of smart doorbells take off with their Ring Doorbells, and while there are a lot of different options out there, whether you go for Amazon or another brand, the basic model is still great. It's also a great option if you want something budget-friendly, especially with this 4th of July discount from Amazon, bringing it down to $55 rather than $100, which is nearly 50% off.

Why you should buy the Ring Video Doorbell
If you look at our Ring Video Doorbell buying guide, you'll see a lot of versions of the Ring out there, but this version is the basic version, which is why it's so cheap. Even so, the Ring Video Doorbell 2 is a solid smart doorbell with a 1080p camera that lets you see everything. The included microphones mean you can hear everything as well, and you can talk back if you need to as well, which is always handy if you aren't at home. Luckily, the Ring Doorbell 2 supports both wired and wireless, which makes setup a lot easier, and you'll get a few months out of the battery, so you don't have to swap it out often.

One of my favorite 4th of July deals is a big discount on a Keurig
keurig k mini coffee maker 50 was 100 2

Coffee is the lifeblood of many folks, so it's no surprise that coffee machines have become pretty popular, with one of the most well-known brands being Keurig. Unfortunately, not everybody can fit a bulky coffee or espresso machine in their kitchen, and it's a wasted space anyway if you're just a single person at home. That's where the Keurig K-Mini comes into play since it's small and easy to fit in most spaces, and it's even got a great 4th of July discount from Amazon where you can grab it for just $60 instead of the $100 you'd usually spend.

Why you should buy the Keurig K-Mini
While the Keurig K-Mini isn't a smart coffee maker, it's still easy to use and can quickly give you that shot of caffeine. It can handle several different brew sizes, from 6 to 12 ounces, and it can even have enough space to fit a travel mug, although still be sure to check that yours fits before buying. The only real downside here is that the K-Mini only has enough of a water reservoir for one brew, so you'll have to refill it every time you want to brew a cup, although that's not a dealbreaker.

Save $15 when you get 3 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate today
Promotional art for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Subscription services for entertainment have been around for a while, starting with Netflix and expanding to both Amazon Video and Disney Plus, and only recently reaching the gaming world. One of the first in the game for both consoles and PCs was Microsoft with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, offering many great games for a small monthly subscription. Luckily, this 4th of July deal nets you a $30 3-month subscription from CDKeys, whereas it would normally cost $45 if you went through Microsoft. That's $15 you get to save to potentially spend on more games, which is always a win.
