The Google Pixel 4 is still on sale for Best Buy’s Cyber Week sale today

Cyber Monday is over, but retailers like Best Buy are still offering Cyber Week deals today. Though not all of the discounts are as good as yesterday, now is still a good time to buy Google’s latest Pixel smartphones thanks to a couple of smartphone deals for the Pixel 4 series. You’ve probably seen plenty of commercials for them by now, showing off how they’re excellent at taking photographs — especially when it comes to capturing the stars in the night sky. Well, if you waited until its post-launch day, you’re going to be rewarded because Best Buy is discounting the phones heavily for Cyber Week alongside some Apple iPhone deals.

The big-box retailer is discounting the unlocked models of the Google Pixel 4 and 4 XL by $50, making the 64GB versions $750 and $850, respectively. These prices are a bit more reasonable, especially when the Pixel 4 retails for $800. If you think 64GB of storage isn’t enough, then you can pay just an additional $100 to upgrade to the

. These deals are outstanding when you factor in that they’re unlocked, feature smooth scrolling with their 90Hz screens, and how they capture unbelievable, high-quality photos with their cameras.

However, if you still feel as though paying over $500 for a smartphone is still out of reach, then think about Google’s Pixel 3a series. That’s because Amazon is discounting both the Pixel 3a and 3a XL by $100. You’ll only need to fork over $300 and $380 for the 64GB versions of the phones. Even without the discounts, they’re bargain prices that make the $1,000 cost of other high-end smartphones seem overinflated. But hey, who doesn’t love a good discount? Sure, they may not have all the cutting-edge features like their newer counterparts, but the Pixel 3a series can still capture some of the same exquisite photos with their single rear cameras. And yes, you can take astrophotography thanks to the latest software update.

Don’t wait any longer because these deals are only valid today for Cyber Monday. While you’re at it, you may want to consider picking up a case or perhaps a pair of sweet true wireless earbuds, because as you may know, the Pixel 4 series doesn’t have a headphone jack. Alternatively, there are still several other smartphone deals happening for Cyber Week, so check out some of the best deals below before they’re gone.

What Google needs to do to make the Pixel Watch 2 worth buying
The Google Pixel Watch's Big Time watch face.

The Google Pixel Watch is a missed opportunity, and while there’s nothing wrong with its simple minimalist design and basic features, we think Google could have done much better — especially given its price.

Although a sequel won’t arrive for a while yet, we’ve already got plenty of ideas about what it needs to do to make the Pixel Watch 2 worth buying. It's a long and lengthy list, but they're all things Google needs to seriously consider whenever the next Pixel Watch is ready for showtime.

Does the Google Pixel Watch work with Samsung phones?
Google Pixel Watch with a recycled loop strap.

When picking up a new smartwatch, questions of compatibility are always on the mind. Competing products in the smartphone and smartwatch space don't like to play together when it comes to mixing and matching devices, but they aren't always consistent in their exclusivity. For example, you can't use an Apple Watch with an Android device, but you can connect a Fitbit (a Google-owned company) to an iPhone without issue.

Luckily, Google and Samsung accessories tend to be a little more willing to work with phones from the opposite manufacturer, thanks to Android being shared across both platforms. Now that the Google Pixel Watch is here, a new question is on the minds of some interested shoppers: Does the Google Pixel Watch work with Samsung phones?

The Google Pixel Watch isn’t great, but it could still save Wear OS
Google Pixel Watch on a wrist.

Last week, the Pixel Watch launched. As Google's first premium smartwatch, it fills up the void that has existed for eight long-drawn years. During this time, Android users have felt the absence of a powerful smartwatch that offers an unadulterated Android experience, competing against the Apple Watch. Google arrives late to the party, at a time when brands already imagine successors to smartphones, and Apple and Samsung have strongholds in the market.

The Pixel Watch stands against the odds, and the first impressions lend no mercy. Things could have been much different had Google set a timely foot in the segment. So, a few basic questions crop up: Is it too late for the Pixel Watch to get the success that Google claims it to be worthy of? Can Google salvage that? Is this the end of Wear OS?
