Walmart Prime Day Sale 2021

We all know that Prime Day deals are coming up fast but is there a chance that other major retailers like Walmart will also be indulging in their very own sales during Prime Day? Yes, in a word. Walmart has its own Prime Day sales starting in just two days time meaning from Sunday, we’re going to see some amazing deals from the major retailer. With the Walmart Prime Day sale running from June 20 until June 23, Walmart is aiming to provide customers with Black-Friday-like savings across the board and for a longer period of time than Amazon is targeting. To prepare you for the sales event, we’ve taken the time to look at what to expect from the Walmart Prime Day sale.

What Date is the Walmart Prime Day Sale?

Walmart has announced that its Prime Day style sale will run June 20 to June 23 — meaning it starts just two days from now. That also means it’s two days longer than Amazon Prime Day, starting a day earlier and finishing a day later. The sale is called Deals for Days and promises to offer Black-Friday-like savings with online only deals, special store-only savings, as well as discounts available both in-store and online.

What Walmart Prime Day Deals Should You Expect?

Typically, Walmart and Amazon focus on different areas during their sales. While they both have a certain amount of overlap with both retailers typically focusing on sales for a ton of different technology, there are some distinctions.

For instance, Amazon is likely to have better discounts on its own products such as the Amazon Echo range and the Amazon Kindle e-readers. Alongside that though, we’re expecting to see a lot more discounts on home essentials and furniture at Walmart than we’ll see at Amazon. That’s simply because of what Walmart tends to focus on — housewares and other home essentials.

If you’re looking for bedding, new furniture for your home, or those little delights that spruce up your living space, it’s very likely that Walmart will have such items more heavily discounted and attractively priced than Amazon, which tends to focus on gadgets and technology.

What Highlights Are Likely During the Walmart Prime Day Sale?

No matter what the sales season, Walmart always has fantastic offers on TVs and we’re expecting this forthcoming sale to be the same.

Keep an eye out for big-name brands as well as lesser-known TV brands at cheap prices during the Walmart sale, and don’t be afraid to get in fast. Stock is often limited. Read up on the best TV brands and the best TVs beforehand so you know exactly what to expect.

The Fire TV Stick is 58% off, the cheapest it’s ever been
Two Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max sticks in hand.

Even though most modern TVs come with some form of smart TV platform, that doesn't necessarily mean you'll like it, especially if you're already ingrained in another ecosystem. That's where the Amazon Fire TV stick comes into play, allowing Amazon users to gain access to the Amazon ecosystem with a simple little device, and it's even going for very cheap right now. While it's normally $40, you can grab it for just $17 from Amazon, which is great, especially if you want to grab a couple of different TVs.

Why you should buy the Fire TV Stick
Of course, if you're not familiar with what is the Amazon Fire TV, it's a little device that attaches to your HDMI port and lets you stream directly from the stick, which hosts Amazon's Fire Smart TV platform. Another important thing to know about the Fire TV Stick is that it runs on FHD resolutions only; if you want something that can handle 4k TVs, you should pick up the Fire TV Stick 4K Max, which has many great extra features. Under the plastic, you'll find a dual-core processor, dedicated VideoCore4 GPU, and 1GB of RAM, which may not seem like much, but it still provides a relatively snappy experience when browsing all the channels. There's also 8GB storage to save a couple of episodes of something, and a dual-band, dual-antenna Wi-Fi adapter that provides a strong internet connection so you can stream everything without lag or issues.
