Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood launch trailer

Now that the hype from Call of Duty: Black Ops has died down, it is time to stretch the credit cards once more for the next title in the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

Due out tomorrow, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood is a direct sequel to Assassin’s Creed II, picking up immediately where the previous game ended. You once again step into the animus and take control of Ezio. Following an attack that destroys his home and kills his friend, Ezio take sthe fight to the Borgias on the streets of Rome. But rather than just assassinating key targets, Ezio faces an army, so he counters that with an army of his own.

No, Assassin’s Creed Shadows won’t be online only

Despite fan concerns that the recently announced Assassin's Creed Shadows would be online-only, Ubisoft has confirmed that this won't be the case.

The Assassin's Creed team posted a statement on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday to clarify that the game would only need an online connection to install, and then can be played completely offline after.

Ubisoft's biggest upcoming game is arguably Assassin's Creed Shadows, which is set to release on November 15 across all the usual platforms, including PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. That also seems to include some unusual ones, too, including Mac.

While the official store page only mentions that the game will be available digitally on PC, a press release sent to Digital Trends features a few more details, including that the standard edition will release on Macs with Apple silicon on day one via the Mac App Store. However, players won't be able to buy more premium editions for the platform.
