Dead Space 2 Trailer

Isaac Clarke, the hero of the first Dead Space, is having a bad day. After surviving the events of the first game (sorry if revealing that the hero does not die is a spoiler), he finds himself on the densely populated space station known as the Sprawl. You can probably guess what happens next.

Isaac wakes on the Sprawl to find himself in the hospital, suffering from a weird form of dementia. Bad things begin to happen. The Necromorph horde has begun to turn the population of the space station into creepy things, and Isaac is once again thrust into the situation of having to kill everything he finds, in inventive and graphically pleasing ways.

Beyond that, the details are somewhat sparse. The game is due out on January 25, 2011 on PC, Xbox 360, and the PS3. The PS3 will also be offering a port of the Wii-prequel game Dead Space: Extraction, with PlayStation Move support.

More on this game when it comes, but for now enjoy the impressively creepy trailer.

Alan Wake 2's new story expansion, The Lake House, is yet another short, spooky adventure in the Remedy Connected Universe, but it also contains the first look at the long-awaited sequel to 2019's Control -- and it's easy to miss.

Remedy has created a connected universe between its games, with the two main players right now being Control and Alan Wake 2. Control started by dropping easter eggs about Alan's whereabouts before straight-up reintroducing him in the AWE expansion. Meanwhile, Alan Wake 2 heavily features the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC) and introduces new lore into how it all functions.

Blizzard is finally bringing 6v6 matches back to Overwatch 2 — for now
Orisa throwing an arrow in Overwatch 2.

Blizzard seems to have heard players' prayers. The Overwatch team announced Thursday that it's bringing back 6v6 matches after controversially removing them for Overwatch 2 -- for testing purposes, at least.

In a blog post, the team revealed that it's running two 6v6 tests in the upcoming season 14. The first will be a week into the season, which begins on December 10, and will be trying out a new Open Queue-type scenario where players can change characters on the fly, but must fill at least one of the roles without going over three per team. So you can't switch to Genji if you already have three damage heroes.
