Just shy of two months after its release, Eidos Montreal is still hard at work on Deus Ex: Human Revolution. We’ve known for a while now that a DLC was on the way. The story has been outlined, a trailer has been released and the developers have even gone on record as stating that the boss fights—a bit of a sore subject for gamers that played the game with a stealth emphasis—have been redesigned to give multiple option on whoopin’ them. What we didn’t know was exactly when and how much the continuation of the story would cost us.
Both of those questions have now been answered, thanks to Eidos Montreal’s Twitter feed. The new content, titled “The Missing Link,” will be available to download on October 18 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. The add-on will cost $14.99, or 1200 Microsoft Points.
The new content will feature Adam on a massive boat after having been captured. With his augmentations initially deactivated, Adam must make his way through the boat filled with enemies to reactivate them, find out what is going on, and then make them pay.
