Diablo III classes explained

Diablo 3 wallpaperFor most video game enthusiasts, the release of Diablo III can’t come quick enough.  Most recently, Blizzard said that it hoped to get the game out in 2011, but did not rule out 2012 being a possibility.  IGN was able to interview Blizzard’s Jay Wilson to talk about the five playable classes in the game.  The classes are Wizard, Demon Hunter, Barbarian, Monk, and Witch Doctor.

There are five separate videos, one for each class, so you can pick and choose which class you want to learn the most about.  As usual, we took the liberty to watch all the videos for you in a hope to save you ten minutes.  The videos go more in depth than just introducing the general play style of each class, and actually talks about a couple of marque abilities you can expect to use when playing each class.

The Wizard looks to be the typical caster class; The player uses powerful magic to attack enemies, but can’t take much damage.  The Demon Hunter is the ranged non-caster class, using ranged weapons to attack enemies.  Barbarians are the brute melee class, who can take a licking and keep on ticking.  The Monk is a slightly more graceful melee class, powerful in close range but not as sturdy as a Barbarian.  Last but not least is the Witch Doctor, which is the pet class; they are able to create pets to help do the fighting for the player. Of all the classes and abilities outlined in the five videos, the craziest belongs to the Witch Doctor. He can harness an ability called “fire bats” which is described as, “a flame thrower, but with bats.”

Hopefully these videos will help you decide which class you play while finally being able to make some money playing a video game.  We are still deciding which classes we want to play, but it might be hard to turn down the chance to use a bat flamethrower. Let’s hope that we are able to play this game by the end of the year.

Diablo 4: all Stronghold locations
Diablo 4

The Diablo series is famous for popularizing the Action RPG dungeon crawler. Really kicking off with the second game, that formula of building up your character, running deadly dungeons for loot, and doing it all again at higher difficulties is what many people come to these games for. Diablo 4 offers the largest variety of challenge yet. You have a lengthy main quest across multiple acts, optional dungeons, and random World Events, but the Strongholds are the first real taste of that endgame challenge. These difficult trials shower anyone both strong and smart enough to overcome them with plenty of rewards, but you need to find them first. Sanctuary has never been so large, so here's all the Stronghold locations in Diablo 4.
All Stronghold locations

Each of the five main regions in Diablo 4 has three Strongholds to find, for a total of 15. Regions in this game are massive, so unless you're willing to comb over every area, knowing where to look will make finding these Strongholds much easier. Once you beat a Stronghold, which typically requires you to defeat all the enemies, solve a puzzle, and/or defeat a tough mini-boss, most will transform into a settlement you can use as a Waypoint. Unlike all the other main content in Diablo 4, Strongholds don't scale to your level, but to a few levels above your current power, making them always challenging no matter when you attempt them.

Nostrava: On the southwestern side of the map, you can reach it by going out the northwestern exit of Kyovashad and heading through The Pallid Glade. It is south of Camp Trenchfoot.

how long is diablo 4 diablo4 isometric barbarian

Being called a Wanderer in Diablo 4 is extremely appropriate. You will be traveling all across the massive map to complete quests, enter dungeons, and just generally explore the region. Your character can run at a decent pace, but it won't be long until you've expanded the edges of your map so far that even the helpful fast-travel points won't be enough to get you where you want to be fast enough. For that, a mount comes in handy. You'll find a stable in the opening hours of the game, but it will take a lot longer than that before you can actually mount up yourself. Here's everything you need to do in order to get a mount in Diablo 4.

Since it's an always-online experience, you'll never truly be alone in Diablo 4. Between all the other players you can encounter roaming around the world, and the ability to play co-op with friends on any platform, odds are you will never be lacking a companion. Even so, you can't expect someone to keep you company at all times, unless you get yourself a pet. Granted, there's only one pet available at the moment, and it is purely a cosmetic item and won't help you in combat, but is an adorable companion nonetheless. Here's how to get a pet in Diablo 4.
