Producer/musician Flying Lotus is adding an extra half hour of music to his curated FlyLo FM station in Grand Theft Auto V‘s upcoming PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One re-release. The new music will include exclusive tracks from Doom, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony’s Krayzie Bone, and, of course, Flying Lotus himself (via Pitchfork).

FlyLo FM features experimental/indie hip-hop and electronic music from the likes of Aphex Twin, Tyler the Creator, and Outkast.  “I was really proud of the first bit of it,” Flying Lotus said in a recent live stream with Rockstar Games, “but I still felt there was so much more to say, though, so I’m really excited about that.”

Flying Lotus’ station isn’t the only one getting a revamp for the new release. Earlier in 2014, English model/actor Cara Delevingne tweeted that she was going back to Rockstar to update her Non Stop Pop FM station, implying at least new interstitial recordings, if not new tracks.

The nephew of Alice and John Coltrane, Flying Lotus (aka Steve Ellison) has released five albums of experimental electronic music to increasing critical acclaim since 2006. He also, among countless other projects and collaborations, produced a large portion of the bumper music from Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block during that time, and has recently begun rapping under the name Captain Murphy, which he took from the character of the same name in Adult Swim’s Sealab 2021.

GTA V has sold 160 million units, second only to Minecraft
The main characters of Grand Theft Auto V stand side-by-side.

Grand Theft Auto V has sold 160 million units since its launch, cementing it as the second bestselling game of all time behind Minecraft, according to Take-Two Interactive's latest investor presentation.

The figure for GTA V's sales is massive compared not only to other games by themselves, but entire franchises. According to Statista, by November 2020, the Assassin's Creed franchise had sold 155 million copies. That number doesn't include Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, which was released that same month, but even when you add the sales of that title in, GTA V's sales come extremely close to the total sales of the Assassin's Creed franchise.

The best graphics settings for GTA V

Grand Theft Auto V is still a demanding game in 2021, even putting the best graphics cards in their place. If you have a new RTX 3000-series graphics card -- first, lucky you -- and a recent CPU from Intel or AMD, you should be able to tear through GTA V without any issues. If you have anything older, though, you'll need the best graphics settings for GTA V.

We tested all of the graphics settings in GTA V to find which ones made a difference and which ones didn't. You can vastly improve your frame rate without giving up much visual quality if you know what settings to tweak.
How we tested the best graphics settings for GTA V
We tested each of GTA V's graphical settings at 1080p using the internal benchmark. 1080p is, by far, the most common resolution for PC games. GTA V's benchmark has five scenes, each of which produces a frame average. We took those averages and averaged them again to get a single number for each of the graphical settings.

Microsoft revealed its next round of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in April. The biggest announcement is the return of Grand Theft Auto V, which will be available on Microsoft's cloud gaming service.

Grand Theft Auto V was previously available on Xbox Game Pass until it was removed from the service in May 2020. At the time, Microsoft switched it out for Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2, which has since left the Game Pass catalog.
