Fortnite season 4 week 11 challenge guide: Visiting all locations in a single match

Fortnite has just launched its XP Xtravaganza, offering a handful of weekly challenges that — you guessed it — give you lots of XP. The first set of challenges, as part of week 1, are relatively straightforward, but some might cause you a little trouble. One specific challenge requires you to visit all 17 named locations on the map in a single game. This one is particularly troublesome because the storm can easily sweep you up before you have a chance to visit each location.

Though, even with the storm, there is an easy way to complete this challenge, and we’ll show you how — including a recommended route, as well as tips and strategies to make it easier. Here’s how to visit all named locations in a single match in Fortnite.

How to visit all named locations in a single match

There are a couple of ways to do this, but the most straightforward method is to fly to each location in a helicopter. It’ll take a lot longer, but at least it doesn’t require coordination with a team — which, let’s be honest, is hit or miss most times. The idea is to land at a secluded location by a helicopter spawn. We recommend landing at Catty Corner on the southwestern side, where you’ll find a helipad. We like this location because it’s typically pretty empty, meaning you’re less likely to run into enemy players. Of course, there are other choppers you can use, but this one is the safest and is on the outer edge, which should be prioritized.

Use this helicopter to fly from Catty Corner to Lazy Lake, then Retail Row, and then take a look at the storm to plan your path from there. The nice thing is that you don’t have to get out of the chopper to get each area to register. Simply fly overhead and wait for the game to give you credit. From here, plan your path accordingly based on the storm. You’ll want to hit the outer areas first — the ones closest to the storm. You’ll almost always reach the inner locations like The Authority or Salty Springs toward the end since those are closer to the center of the circle. Areas like Coral Castle and Dirty Docks might be visited first, since they’re often closest to the edge of the storm. However the storm is forming, prioritize the outer locations first. This way, you can get them out of the way before the storm covers them.

For us, our path looked like this:

  1. Catty Corner
  2. Retail Row
  3. Lazy Lake
  4. Misty Meadows
  5. Slurpy Swamp
  6. The Fortilla
  7. Weeping Woods
  8. Holly Hedges
  9. Sweaty Sands
  10. Coral Castle
  11. Doom’s Domain
  12. Craggy Cliffs
  13. Steamy Stacks
  14. Dirty Docks
  15. Stark Industries
  16. The Authority

However, your path might look slightly different depending on the storm. Here’s a video of us visiting all 17 in a single match:

You’ll notice that even with the storm coming dangerously close to us, we still managed to visit all locations in time. It took around seven minutes to visit them all. The other important thing to note is that you should absolutely be boosting your helicopter the entire time. Press Circle on PS4, B on Xbox One, or A on Nintendo Switch to boost. You’ll also notice that you get credit for locations your teammates have visited within the same match.

With that in mind, the other strategy you can use is to have your entire squad of four split up into groups to tackle the entire map. Send one person to each quadrant of the map (preferably to a helicopter if possible). Then, you’ll be able to complete the challenge much faster, without running the risk of being overtaken by the gas. Again, this method is harder to execute because you have to coordinate with a whole team. So if you’ve got a few friends, this one should be easy for you.

Otherwise, you’ll need to do it yourself using the method described above. Take notice of areas your team has already visited if you’re doing this one solo. That way, you can skip them and save time, hopefully getting you closer to all 17. Once you visit all 17 named locations within the same match, you’ll complete the challenge and gain 50,000 XP.

How to survive storm phases carrying an Epic weapon in Fortnite
Character jumping while holding Epic weapon in Fortnite.

A new Fortnite challenge for surviving storm phases while carrying an Epic weapon has caused some confusion, as the quest's wording isn't exactly clear. Thankfully, the challenge is much easier than it seems, and once you know what to do, you can get through it relatively quickly. Here's how to survive storm phases while carrying an Epic weapon in Fortnite.
What is an Epic weapon?
Fortnite uses a rarity system with its weapons, which are denoted by colors. Purple weapons are Epic, but keep in mind you can utilize any weapon of higher rarity to complete this quest. As long as the weapon is at least Epic, you'll earn credit for surviving storm phases.
How to get an Epic weapon

There are several ways to get Epic weapons. One way is to simply find one from chests or as floor loot, but this isn't as reliable. You can also purchase Epic weapons from NPCs around the map. Nearly all main hubs have an NPC who sells weapons, so be sure to talk with them if you have the funds. Using an Upgrade Station is another solid option for collecting an Epic weapon, though it's expensive. Another option is to defeat the Highcard Boss found at Brutal Bastion, Shattered Slabs, and Mega City. Upon defeat, the Highcard Boss drops a Mythic Havoc Suppressed Rifle.

How to give specialist a command in Fortnite
Character interacting with NPC in Fortnite.

As part of Fortnite's Spring Breakout Daily Quests, players are tasked with giving a hired specialist character a command. Of course, the game doesn't specify how to do this exactly, leading to some confusion amongst the community. Thankfully, we've got everything you need to know about completing this new quest with ease in Fortnite.
How to hire a specialist

Specialist Characters are specific NPCs all around the map. If you pull up the quest itself, you'll actually see a map of all the Specialist Characters. Keep in mind that not all NPCs fall into this category, so be sure to look at the map. We like the one to the very north of Breakwater Bay as it's usually out of the way. Once you find them, you'll need to pay 200 Gold Bars to hire them. If you don't have the funds, be sure to play more and complete bounties as needed.
How to give a character a command
After you've hired the Specialist Character, they'll be on your side for the duration of the match. If you look at the top left side of the screen, you'll see an icon that represents the Follower Communications wheel. Press and hold left on the D-pad on console or the middle mouse button on PC to get this menu to appear. Once it does, you can pick from a list of commands such as wait or follow. To complete the quest, you simply need to issue one command and after the NPC does what you ask, you'll earn credit for completing it.

Resident Evil 4 locked drawers guide: all Small Key locations
Infected villager from Resident Evil 4 remake.

Keys and Resident Evil games are like peanut butter and jelly. If you're not fighting zombies, you're looking for a key to get you to the next room -- where you will fight more zombies. While there are plenty of mandatory keys in the Resident Evil 4 remake, there are also a set of extra keys that you can completely miss. These Small Keys are used to unlock locked drawers you come across, as opposed to doors, and hold some very valuable treasures. Considering how precious money is in this game, the more treasures you can find and sell to your Merchant friend, the better off you'll be. Small keys aren't in your direct path often, and once you leave an area, you can't go back to collect them later in most cases. We'll help you become the master of unlocking by showing you where to snag all the Small Keys in Resident Evil 4, as well as where to use them.
Where to find all Small Keys
Before getting into the locations of Small Keys, note that these keys are not exclusive to a single drawer. Any Small Key can be used to open any drawer, so feel free to spend them as soon as you find a drawer with a key in hand. However, once you leave an area in Resident Evil 4, there's no going back. That means if you left any keys or drawers behind, you won't be able to open them unless you start another playthrough or wait until you begin a new game. There are eight Small Keys to get, and they are all found within the first two zones of the game, but won't show up on your map. Locked drawers won't either by default, but if you buy the Treasure Map from the Merchant, the drawers will be put on your map. Here's how to track all the keys down, and where the nearest locked drawer is in the order you can first encounter them.

The first key you can get is in Chapter 2 in the Valley. After meeting the Merchant, you will be sent into the Valley to find a key to open the gate opposite the Merchant. After clearing out the enemies, drop down to the lowest level on the south end and enter the shack. Inside, take a right and look for a case on the shelf. Loot it, and pick up the first Small Key. The nearest locked drawer is back in the Factory past the Merchant. Go into the room where you retrieved Leon's equipment after it was taken from him and use the key on the desk drawer.
