Fortnite challenge guide: Find a hidden bunker

Now that Fortnite’s season 5, week 9 challenges are live, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to start earning some XP. One of the more confusing ones for this week requires you to find a hidden bunker, which, of course, is not marked on the map. Fortunately, we’ve got the locations of all of them.

In this guide, we’ll show you how this challenge works, along with the locations of each bunker. Here’s where to find a bunker in Fortnite.

Where to find a hidden bunker

There are three bunkers you can choose from to complete this challenge, but luckily, you only need to discover one of them. In the map above (courtesy of Fortnite.gg), you’ll see all three locations as indicated by the circles. But for this guide, we’ll be focusing on the one in the bottom right, to the east of Retail Row as indicated by the red circle. The yellow circles simply represent the other bunker locations, so feel free to land at any of those instead.

With regards to the bunker across from Retail Row, it’s hidden on the cliffside among some shrubs and trees. This area will be grayed out on the map before you discover it, so be aware that pinpointing its exact location on the map might not be so straightforward. Nonetheless, land at this spot and search for the two trees that surround the bunker. Take down the shrubs if you’d like, so you can see the bunker easier.

All you have to do is walk on top of it and you’ll gain credit for the challenge, along with 20,000 XP for doing so. The one thing we should mention is that you might encounter other players going for the same challenge — specifically at the spot mentioned above. If that happens, it’s not the end of the world, as you can still land on the bunker and get credit for doing so, even if you go down. It’s not as tough as one of the other challenges that features a limited number of items or something similar, so don’t worry if you see a bunch of people landing by you.

Remember, in order to complete this challenge, you must first finish stage one of this particular set. During season 5, most of the challenges come in stages, meaning you have to complete one before moving on to the next. Unfortunately, this means you can’t just complete them all in the same match since you need to back out to the main menu after each quest you complete. In this case, stage one features a quest that requires you to shake down an IO guard, so make sure you do that first before attempting this one. Otherwise, the next challenge won’t unlock, even if you meet the requirements for it.

All Experts in Star Wars Outlaws and where to find them
star wars outlaws interview returning characters qi ra

Unlike most other Ubisoft games, or even most RPGs for that matter, you don't level up and unlock skills as you would expect to in Star Wars Outlaws. You won't earn any points or find a skill tree waiting for you here, but rather the new Experts system. As you explore the galaxy and meet new people while hunting for treasures, you will encounter special characters called Experts who are willing to help Kay expand her skills. Well, once you find and help them out, that is. Without their help, you're stuck with your basic abilities for the whole game, so taking a break from your main quest to find them is well worth your time. The galaxy is a big place, so we'll tell you where to find each of the Experts in Star Wars Outlaws.
How learning new skills works

As we mentioned, you won't find yourself leveling up after completing missions or dispatching enemies. The only way to learn any new skills is through finding an Expert.

Fortnite is one step closer to being fully back on mobile devices. Epic Games revealed Friday that its store app is now available on Android devices and on iOS in the EU.

This isn't the full Epic Games Store, but it's launching with Fall Guys for mobile, Rocket League Sideswipe, and, of course, Fortnite, with more apps to come. The storefront is also now on third-party mobile stores like AltStore PAL, and there are plans to bring it to others in the future.
